do we need a midi keyboard for this? and if so, what do you recommend for someone on a budget? i'm going to college at full sail for recording arts and i want to record all types of music from death metal to dub step and i was wondering if this would be the best buy. i found it for a hundo on musicians friend
@metaldemonseanknels It has an on-screen keyboard that you can use. I've purchased this and I've been sitting on it since before Christmas, shame on me. I think I'm going to open it today and give it a shot. A midi keyboard is always a good investment though.
I bought it too! It's gonna be for my son, who loves dubstep and just getting started on my Live rig. Ive bought Sonivox before (Sampla) and they make really beautiful looking, well crafted software. but the marketing is kinda superficial. they don't really tell you what exactly it is! but next week when it gets loaded up, I'll tell you what I think. Ho HO HO - wub wub wub.

@MrStupidHead I heard that Twist is limited in samples or sounds. This is definitely geared more towards Dubstep if its your thing.
