I like your recipe, I am trying it now "baking now" :). However, I like how clean is your steps, you pay attention to hygienic things. I like the photos as well.
If I might critique, i would love to see more accurate measures of oven heat. I love to see the camera stable, check foodwishes channel, and you will know what I mean.
but is it good for olive oil to bring it to this elevated heat level? I tought that olive oil only tolerates up to 180 degrees???? Dunno. Do you precook this potatoes or put them for some time in hot water? Thank you for sharing this. Was it soap?
the potatoes will taste great after baking on this high heat with olive oil. you may use any other oil if you are worried about bringing up olive oil to high temperature.
i do not precook the potatoes, just wash, slice and mix with oil and spices then bake. it does not take much time...about 30-40 minutes and it is all done and crispy. delicious!
lols, i loved the odd looking potato. it was a game of ours as kids to look for odd looking vegetables about mom's kitchen :) i adore your taste in music. ppl always ask me what type of music do i prefer, i keep saying i like anything that sounds good... 5 stars as usual on the carby-friends!
Sleeplessintokyo...i am sorry to tell you that NO, it will not be as good baked in the microwave oven, you need a regular oven to get it crispy and gloden brown. microwave cooking usually will make the potatoes close to rubber than crispy. :)
Sleeplessintokyo, Unfortunately, using the microwave for baking this dish will make the potatoes soggy at first then if you try to get it crispy it will get too hard...better to use the regular oven. sorry!
i m confused. exactly how hot is a "very hot oven"?? could you tell the approx. temperature please?

@AshFate , 500 degrees Fahrenheit and they need about 30-40 minutes to get crisp and crunchy.
