Lol. Thought you had a girlfriend? Might make things a little complicated. But I digress. I'm glad you made that comment about Noah jumping into this. Like his marriage, he just ran head long into it without any real thought, which is likely reflective of his upbringing. Unfortunately, the army is the worst place to go, as they further emphasize that. I have the upmost respect for those who serve in the military, though I find the institution itself distasteful. It's like Noah's a giant child.

I know why the writer's are doing this. It's just another attempt to keep Noah and Luke from consumating their relationship, just like Charity and Miguel on Passions. Unfortunately, just like that show, I feel they're taking it too far. And there are other ways to give him a break, like maybe he leave town or something. But the army? It doesn't make a damn bit of sense. The marriage farce was an impossible stretch as it is, but Noah's already admitted that he's gay to his father's friend.

He shouldn't have even made it this far into the enrollment. I mean, come on, even the pro army, anti gay @ssh#l%s out there have to admit that this doesn't even begin to mesh together. And don't tell me that they're just creating drama. News flash, Nuke has NEVER had a happy period. Everytime they're been happy it's been marred by something (Win's presence, Luke's paralysis, Ameera). They've never had a happy period damn it!!!

And I'm sorry, but if you can graphically portray Holden nailing that blonde and show her faking it, you can surely show a gay sex scene. Has anyone ever heard of Showcase? Believe me, "worse" and more graphic stuff has been shown before. And don't anyone try and call up the whole valentine's day episode thing as any kind of justification. In that alternate reality, Noah didn't know Luke before he enlisted. To do so like Noah did, without even a word or consulting Luke, is completely selfish.

But then again, that's all Noah's ever been throughout the show. Brief shining moments broken by oceans of selfishness. You wanna know the reason they didn't have a repeat of Nuke's little promise, because Noah doesn't deserve it. I mean, come on, Oh, you killed my father, I hate you, now I love you again, but oh, I'm shipping out. You know what I wanna see? I wanna see Luke and Reg getting hot and heavy, then have Noah come back and be, you had your shot, then have Noah squirm like a worm!!!!

I hate how the studio is pandering to the right-wing to end this storyline. They have a chance to support love and tolerance, and instead they choose to end a beautiful and wonderful story. It's sad and heartbreaking.

I don't know for sure but I think it's just a way to give Jake Silbermann a break. Just as they paralyzed Luke when Van wanted to do a play, and put Lily in a coma when Martha Byrnes went on maternity leave.

I mean, c'mon, Noah in the army??? The military rejects gays and Noah has been out long enough to be known as gay. It's just a matter of time before he gets kicked out back to the arms of Luke...
