The Creative Zen Mozaic had a design flaw which creative would never admit to, the screen broke really easily when subjected to very little pressure. Two people I know had exactly the same problem and the number of people on message boards who suffered the same issue points to somewhat more than a coincidence.

As far as I know, the videos that come stored on it already are .avi files, however, if that's not working for you, it might be a certain type of .avi, it should list all the details about it in the manual or on the website :)

I'm not sure but try to record a video file first from your MP3, and look for the format so next time you convert videos, you know what format you need.

Hmm... Don't hate me if I'm wrong, but I've been through alot of MP3 players so I'm savvy on this kind of thing. If converting to the format it says it supports doesn't work, it could be Creative's own encoded format. Samsung do the same thing, you have to use the software that comes bundled with it to convert the file, then it works. I'm not sure if this player comes with converting software, if so, try it, it'll probably be very slow compared to normal converters though.

I think you have to convert your video format to AVI. It should have that program on some CD which allows to turn some music videos to AVI-format

Well, like in (almost?) every battery thing, if the few first charges aren't full, it reduces the max charge you do to the battery. You can live with that.. If you want, you can try to use the battery FULLY, and then charge it to the max. Repeat a few times.

Hi! I've been doing some reserach for an mp3 player and was finally found the Creative Zen Mosaic. But while i was reading comments about it, someone told me if you accidently unplug the headphones, the music automaticly plays through the speakers. Is There any way to make the music stop and then ifo you want to, make it play through the speakers? Or will i have to settle for the Lx model? thanks...

I never got a cd with mine i just plugged mine into the computer and the setup loaded, and all the buttons on mine are black, yours looks better :(

Well I didn't make the vid but I do have one. When you first charge it, it takes 3 hrs or so. Then afterwards it takes around an hour.
