I doubt it's either. Solid Snake and Big Boss haven't done much to earn respect from one another. Certainly not a salute out of Solid Snake. And Boss is seen in US records as a "war criminal" for defecting to the Soviet Union and supplying them with nuclear warheads. Only Big Boss knew she did it for the US.

If i had to guess...maybe Grey Fox? Master Miller? a new character to the story?

The chameleon technology i imagine has a temperature increase/decrease system which sets the outside temperature of the 'costume' to the local surrounding temperature average...i imagine...i mean when you've got mini-metal gears that can moo its not too hard to imagine, is it? Lol.

I think you're right. I read somewhere that Kojima wants to add an element of "mental war" to the game. Perhaps the "mooing" is their way of attempting to lure Snake into a false sense of security.

And in MGS1 wasn't it stated that Gray Fox was Snake's mentor?

Kojima stole my chameleon camouflage from another forum! sheesh...at least he copied it as is.. 8D it was kind of boring if it was just an optical stealth camo...the chameleon thang is a great boost for new players and veterans who are looking for something new...now if only the codecs convos can be switched from 3d to anime style like in the PSX/PSOne versions...

Too bad the in-game graphics probably won't be twice as good as these... Most companies promote this stuff as "what will appear in-game," yet we all get crappy graphics and beautiful cutscenes (Final Fantasy, anyone?) WHo knows, maybe a PS3 will be worth the money?
