I guess they just threw a Sony act: "Hey, let's copy Sf a2 Miki's design but make Piko look like a shota! WOOPIEEEE! "

Keep in mind, though, the Ring's hair is a lot different. From what I see, she doesn't have pigtails. It's ice blue. Yeah, she has blue hair.

I feel bad for the company. They're probably getting so much hate now just because Miku and Ring look alike :/.

They don't sound as good as the others because they are older and not as updated as ones like Seeu, Big Al, etc. Oh, and Big Al is fucking AWESOMESAUCE. I just wish he voice was a bit more, umm.. serious sounding XD. And I love Luka, gumi, and miki. I'm sure you've heard of matt9five/cheezitsareyummy who uses miki orgasmically ;D. Listen to Insanity by Miki, you'll love it :3.

@t12111 I think the same about most Vocaloids, such as Rin and Len. They both share many similarities with Miku, so it's the same case with Ring, she just has that "Vocaloid" feel to her. When people create fan Vocaloids or fan UTAUs, they generally include arm warmers, a sleeveless top and high boots / leg warmers.

@omgsushiyay9 No you're not alone, in fact I agree. And I think it's pretty obvious, their hair colors are pretty different too. Miku's hair is like turquoise-green-ish and Ring's hair color is ICE BLUE. :O

@flufybunn Where are you even getting the UTAU thing? I saw you say that in another Ring demo video as well (by chance dammit). It's just a demo song, so the voice quality will improve in time. Besides, UTAU has a different kind of voice characteristics. Ring and Lui have long been announced and confirmed to be new upcoming Vocaloids for V3.

Also, at your comment in the other video, if you look at the illustrations more closely, Ring has her hair down, so no, she doesn't have ponies or twintails
