I get the feeling that Barry is totally disconnected from American television. Incidentally, I read today that the Charlie's Angel remake is canceled.
t.v. shows usually don't get remade so much as they get 'rebooted.' it's the same concept, characters, etc. but not necessarily the exact same story as the original. straight-out remakes of t.v. shows are rarer.
In the US they are remaking TV series, especially for the show Hawaii 5 0. They also do a lot of different versions for different countries. The biggest example is shows like x-factor and american idol and Britain/America's got talent, but they also have shows like the office and being human which are based on the same idea
One remake that I'm particularly iffy about is The Crow. The reason for this being that Brandon Lee died during the filming. Personally, I feel as though it's a bit disrespectful to remake a film that someone died to complete.
Well they are doing a Charlie's Angles remake, Mekrose place, 90210, Knight Rider,Dragnet, Kojak, Hawaii 5-O, V, and they even did a Love Boat remake! And that is not even near of of them. I mean Battlestar remake people like it but it is a remake. Plus then you have the list of TVshows turned into movies like Smurfs and A-Team.
lol, glove hat. The head rules. Yeah, TV show remakes. Yikes. I guess you could say there's a few...like with the Ninja Turtles coming back with a whole new version, but I mean...other than maybe a few instances like that TV has never really done any show remakes I can think of. haha, maybe they should bring back the Donna Reed Show. XD
That looks like a really awful wig lol. I think remakes should have a slight alteration to the title like "the thing from another world" and "the thing" just so that people don't get confused with the two.
