A mi me gusto este homenaje que realmente no se trata de competir con la version Rock 80's de la original, si no una reinterpretacion con estilos mas de los 90's alejado del rock de los 80s... ahora la preguynta es como serie una reversion basada en estilos de este siglo?

Just... WTF?! The singer can't sing, the song has been stripped of all its soul in favour of sounding 'cool' and 'modern', and the whole thing just sounds like a really, REALLY bad karaoke session. Ugh. :/
It's different from the original. It doesn't sound the same. Very little of the 2040 adaptation is the same as the 2032-2033 version. I prefer the original as well, but this version fits with the tone and demeanor in the 2040 version. Everybody is so filled with vitriol it's crazy.

It was supposed to have 13 episodes. there were only ever 8 made due to it being discontinued due to legal issues between the two companies that made it. The last 5 episodes were never released anywhere. closest thing to closure for the series is Bubblegum Crash, which people assume is supposed to be a shortened version of how those 5 episodes would have gone. That said, I agree that 2040 sucks in comparison to the original.
@EdwardJudorne 2040 in my opinion was a sad attempt to remake the series and actually finish the whole thing as a single series.. and then they screwed up everything. I have little love for 2040.... It really was below par, but I'll still finish it eventually, I guess. By the way, bubblegum crash is nearly impossible to find and is only 3 episodes, just so all of those who like bubblegum crisis know
I knew the series was cancelled, but I knew nothing of details. I had only watched the original series in its entirety, as far as what was released is concerned. The 2040 series didn't strike me as anything special as the original did. The time in which the original was made was when android/cyborg related movies and books, ect. were somewhat at its peak. the series reflected that but held its own. It was almsot las if 2040 came a decade too late.

The love the original and it has that classic 80's sound that is second to none, but I find this version pretty damn awesome too. The heavy guitars, distorted sound and electronic elements in the song make it an interesting remix. It's rockin'.
Pues prefiero mil veces la versión del 80.

Personally don't hate it, but I agree it pales beside the original.
