john's playing is so much cleaner,very strong fender-ish sound. when john plays, you can really hear the Cmaj7 chord sound. josh's sound is a bit muddy. that's my view. john for me.

I like Josh, but he really lacks the feeling. Right now he's really struggling through the old songs. He needs not be a John copy, but the spirit should be preserved. I'm sure he'll improve though and I could not do a better job...

@Saladbowl He's his own player and an awesome one at that. People were saying the same thing about John when he took over from Hillel Slovak... the arguments are boring now. Josh is the player and the other Peppers seem to think the guy is right for them. I agree and, not to mention, John recommended him.
