For the price 1 intel processor you get the Amd processor + you can buy a good processorfan. Do not use the stock Amd fan, it makes to much noise. Whatever you buy, you need a good fan + good bios settings.

They are just different. One isn't inherently better than the other. AMD has had better chips on the market than Intel many times.

yeah it's called the Intel Core i7 be cause it is based on the same architecture as the core2 duo so....

no, go see on wikipedia... core 2 and core i7 is not the same (so...) he should at least placed the pentium to low-end, the core 2 to middle end (still excelent) and the i7 to the latest.

btw: i7 is a COMPLETE new architecture.
