  • How the hell did you get a nitrous kit for $200?

  • @JordanWallac3 I think I bought the kit off someone on PerformanceForums. No bottle tho.

  • I seen your car at WSID about two weeks ago ! i didnt realise it was a 13 for 1300 car !

  • nice video description :) I'm so going to take on this callenge when im a litle older. Just wanting to know whats the average cost of a VN commodore, just keep in mind if i was lloking for one for me, i'd be a P plater so thanks.

  • @mydogzty With rego? Probably about a grand. If you do to it what we did to this it will be a miserable thing to drive. LOL!

So far we got this one for $100 (unregistered) a VP for $300 (also unregistered) and a Lexcen (Toyota rebadges VP) for free off mates which had one month of rego. They're cheap as. Give it a year or 3 and it'll be VS and VT commos as the cheapies.

  • @JamesOnscotch btw i took so long because i was eating ice cream sorry

  • @mydogzty To be honest, you're better off buying a decent car and a car float, then drag racing an unregistered shitter like we are doing. No rego costs, no cop hassles, no problems when you blow it up at the track as you can trailer it home!

  • Congrats guys! I've been watching your competition and no Jappers have done it yet! What happened to the donk on the 2nd run? Is it recoverable? 12.49 unbelievable!

  • @stuing Thanks! Yeah I'm surprised there's been no Jap entries. There's no reason why they shouldn't do well. There's a cressida that will do it easy, but the other Jap stuff either hasn't run yet or has run and failed. Engine is not recoverable, at least not when there's so many free VN V6 motors around to replace it with!! Results from the carnage can be seen in the performanceforums thread.

  • @stuing Well at the moment im 16, and was just wondering about a VN to drive then while saving up buy a decent good car, then use the VN for messing around with for fun; drags, burnouts etc. But if you say whats right, VS and VT's are going to be the next set of cheap cars, then I'll wait & well I should get a VS because my mechanic keeps reminding me that there's parts everywhere for VS and VR's.

Or a VL LOL, hey yea what about a VL?

  • @mydogzty save ur money abd buy something that wont breakdown everytime u drive it. and every1 will think ur a coon if u drive a red vn.

  • @FormulaVeeRacer1200 Saving money is what I'll be doing once I start working somewhere.... By the way me and my dad bought a Ford Laser KC 87 GHIA for $2,200 with roady and rego till april next year. Mainly to learn manual in and yea lol. Dont think its worth doing anything to that car hahahha

  • @mydogzty seriously save ur money. dont spend it on any 4cyl haha im 20 on my greens and have an 11second xr6t :D

  • @FormulaVeeRacer1200 I'll wait when I have some cash saved up, just waht do you recommend for a purely hoondrag burnouts car? expecting you to say a holden.

  • @mydogzty lol if u wanna look like a bogan buy a commodore. If u want a decent burnout car buy a 5sp EF falcon for about 3k throw a cam in it and extractors and u will be ahead of about any v6 commodore and have very big torque. great for skids. watch my channel vids. i have a 250+kw EF 4L holds 2nd gear powerskid all the way to 100kph. and u will never blow a 4L bottom end. i see the v6 commos drop rods left right and center

  • @FormulaVeeRacer1200 Everybody says bogan on youtube....wtf is it lol. Well ok no holdens. I'll search you channel for your EF. Just 1 question, is the fuel good? I think they are a staright 6 engine right? hmmm well if it's a car thats pumps like a motherf*cker, it'll go hard but also give me trouble with copppers. But then again I probaly wont be driving it on teh road just for hooning and legal drags and burnouts. You've seen the 13s for $1300 blue falcon project

  • @stuing The demand for performance jap cars are higher, theyre not comparable to local cars that can be bought for next to nothing. Also most people want to have a streetable car not one with no interior and rego etc.

I'm not bias so im quite impressed with the times you guys have achieved well done!

  • nice work :)
