  • Yes the J's do tend to get swallowed... I used to use them, but now i only use Gamagatsu Circles. They work great and come in plenty of sizes. They will work on any fish from catfish to gar! Now i actually never use J's the circles do great and always set in the corner of the mouth. Go with them and u wont be disappointed!

  • @HighCaliberFishing I love circle hooks for any type of fishing.

  • what type of hooks do you use? I've been back and forth between circles and standard J's and I've never been consistent with either. I find the J's tend to get caught deep in the gullet or the gills, and I do a lot of catch and release, same type of ditch/creek you fish in. Any recommendations?

  • Nice fish. Its always fun to catch big fish on a light action or a micro spin.

  • Thanks guys!

  • nice cat and vid.

  • you might be a pro soon, keep fishing
