  • good for tomohiro that he had killed so many freaks!I am a fan of him.COOL!!!

  • `i'm so shocked when i heard about this .. poor people they're innocent and yet got attacked, they were so helpless .. they didn't deserve to die.. soo sad like i'm gonna cry :'(( may they all rest in peace .. God is with all of u now .

  • @SirSmokeify

Where did I say America is the only place where torture happens? I guess I know we all know who the illiterate idiot really is. ;)

    Learn to read, dumbfuck.

  • And this is why I WANT TO SOMEHOW SET UP AN AKIHABARA DEFENSE FORCE I JUST HOPE THAT I CAN GET INTO THE MILITARY WITH MY ASTHMA EVEN IF THAT MEANS Going SUPERSOLDIER OR TAKING AN EXPERIMENTAL DRUG TO COMBAT MY ASTHMA AND EVENTUALLY SET UP M YOWN DEFENSE FORCE THROUGHT THE MANY OTAKU SANCTUARIES Dis ME ALL U LIKE BUT I WILL DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT I WILL I SWEAR IT.

  • @AmericanKosuPureSama muhahahahahahaa RIGHT ON let akiba BE PROTECTED by the otakudom army muahahah XD

  • This goes to show you, your not safe anywhere. Tomorrow isn't promised to you so you better live it up while you can.

  • The gun ban really worked aye? People will just find alternatives.

  • Fool, Kato should be labeled as a hero for lashing out in public after he was looked down on and resented, and it's about time too. fact is that he did it in dork capital itself and that it took a real man to do that! I hope it will serve as a message that ALL anime or manga should be bannned forever and that the next time that somebody is stupid enough to call himself na otaku should be shot and killed on sight. I Won't apologize for it because I meant it!!!!!!

  • Kato was an otaku lol, he didn't kill those people being he disliked otakus. You're making a connection between two unconnected things. The dude was just emo because he was raised poorly and bullied in high school, and he wanted to go someplace where there was a lot of people to kill.

  • it's just you

  • i was that day in akihabara, but i didn't saw it happen, but there was police everywhere!!

  • This isnt rare in Japan. In fact, this is very common. In fact, about similar cases like this occur about 10 times a year. Japan is full of psychos. Just wikipedia Tsutomu Miyazaki...

  • Yes, actually there was another random stabbing of a young lady a couple days ago. However that doesn't mean that "Japan is full of psychos". In Canada and America, we get several random stabbings *every day* - we're not really in the range of 10 a year...just last year weren't 32 people killed in the Virginia Tech massacre?

  • ya on average about 10 stabbing incidents a year in japan and about 50 murders total. when america has an average of about 15,000 murders a year. but japan has the worlds highest suicide rate for some reason, oh well i still think its the safest place in the world to be

  • aleatorikoperation:

    7 people were killed...not 17

  • wow 0:16 i'd never imagined i could see a street in japan, it's my dream come true lol

  • recently noticed on MSN, dont take example to August 1993, crime rate in Akihabara was over maximum levels that ppl were forced to leaved until Jan 1st, 1994

  • Your video is making me dizzy...

  • I agree. This video is worse than "Cloverfield". Learn to hold the camera steady, you're making us dizzy.

  • at least u get to see what happen

  • We don't get to see anything at all. The footage is horribly shakey and makes no sense.

  • wat do u mean "we" i can see wats happenin

  • LOOOOL but cloverfield really sux man thats so harsh to say about this vid XD

  • Paz ser com eles

  • sad : {

  • I have no right to write what i wrote down there, but who taught us to kill? Imagine that no one ever knew of death, that the word, its meaning would have never been here, because man made it. I see religion always taking people, but i think we should all know this, that it is humans who need to depend on ourselves and prevent people from committing horrible acts, because its what "man" made and created, not god, not anyone, only man

  • Guys let me give you my piece of my mind about this:

    1. Not a yukuza, because if he was he would had a bomb.

    2. Never believe what the media says, because down here in California, media is the worst enemy, i seen it at its horrible points.

    3. Media is run by the government not by the people.

4.We need laws where individual can carry arms, to protect themselves from idiots like that. Example: Civilian is armed with a .45 cal - she is not going to robbed, raped, stabbed, mugged,or murder at all.

  • What about getting shot by your own gun? I agree with your other 3 points but not so much the last. Maybe I'm just not used to the concept of a civilian carrying firearms.

  • if he owned a gun it would have been lot worse

  • What about a stun gun? You can't do mass murders with those things, especially ones with low amperage.

  • Look at the stats man- Japan is one of the safest places to live in this world. this isnt a common thing in Japan. My Japanese co- workers at the Hight School I worked at there would have a group meeting just to talk about what to do about a student talking back to them. Its a different culture. Guns wont solve shit.

  • True. We get a lot more crime here in north america than japan ever does. Over in Japan, they're making a HUGE deal out of this right now because its so rare. Don't judge or insult Japan based on this one incident..

  • The reason that Japan is shocked is because here murders are usually normal murderers such as a man shooting a woman but in Japan the murders are more bizzare Jefferey Dahmer type murders such as Tsutomo who put a Lens cap in a six year olds Vagina after killing her and Molesting her the last time a murder has done that here was like a year back but the murders in Japan like that happen about 5 times a year.

  • @redothello1

And in US that happens 10 times a year, so stfu americunt. Just google "kids tortured parents" on google, and you'll see how just wonderful US is, dumass.

    Japan > US easy

  • @mirimiripipim

dumass....dumbass? Anyhow still loving my Country and I can't really be a cunt without having a vagina dude. Hell maybe you should stop trying to one up and think about how bad this is for any area involved.

  • i have just noticed the terrible news! and i'm planning to live in Tokyo in 2009 or 2010!

...in the metro newspaper here in Belgium it says almost same thing as you wrote, plus that he was a yakusa, member of the japanese mafia... this sad... peoples being stabbed like that, six man and one women.. someome did try to stabb me when i was 15, don't ask me where he is now... R.i.p to all peoples that died in Tokyo yesterday.

  • I'll correct you.

No he wasn't a mobster, he just said he was. After he said that, investigations were occurring to see if that was true, and guess what, he wasn't telling the truth. He probably had something against the yakusa mafia, maybe that's why he said he was with them.

  • yes actually its wrote that he said he was a yakusa... anyway, what is the story about yakusa gang in Japan? i dlike to know about it, i just heard about them in movies and video games...

  • Yakuza are basically mobsters. The American parallel would be what you can see in The Godfather.

The difference is that in Japan the Yakuza, or "Yaks" as resident foreigers sometimes call them, are more public. Their top members are publicly known, the locations of their offices are publicly known, tabloids write articles about them all the time.

Yakuza violence when it happens is generally targeted, not random like this guy or say an American-style drive-by shooting on a crowded street.

  • aight thx, i ll google it too...

  • x-tianity says this idiot should be forgiven. common sense says he should be shot.

  • Thank you for your videos. The news here in the U.S. has been pretty bare of details.

  • I really don't understand the logic of these maniacs.

If you despise life that much, then get help or if you really want to kill yourself, then do it, but don't take it out on innocent people.

These type of people are so selfish. They act like they have such a horrible life, when there are people out there who have it much, much worse.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the victims families.

  • This is just wrong... Those poor people... :(

  • P.S: Please be careful, Akibananana.

  • ciuperchic, "Fuck, I'd do the same if I live in a country..."

okay.. admitting you're prone to irrational & violent tantrums... alrighty then.

Now.. in the dozens of dozens of shooting sprees in the U.S. (where people have the right to bear arms) have you EVER heard of anyone EVER shooting back?

IF Japan had U.S.-style gun laws, how many MORE people would this guy have killed?

  • Obviously you are just trying to get us to start some crap with you. No one in their right mind actually believes that. Interesting that you say you "don't care." Don't care about life? Don't care about ruining families and the relative peace we have over here. So, again, I think you are just trying to get a rise out of the YouTube population. Nice try.

  • yes you are right! taxes and inflated property values are a perfect reason to smash your car into a crowd then run around stabbing people....

    fucking dumb cunt

  • Akibanana - Thank you so much for bringing us your videos today.

  • at your service ^^

  • Was this an attack on otaku culture?

Were otaku and cosplay people targeted?

Was this a crime of hate?

  • That wasn't a truck, that was a minivan.
