@teamsleepnine Only just saw your message! You can save any 44.1KHz/16-bit wav/aiff file on there and assign it to one of the pads, then either play each sample once OR loop it.
For example, you could assign some bass notes to pads 1-8 and drum loops to 9-12, then leave one of the loops playing while constructing a melody on 1-8. You can also record a pattern of pad presses, saving a melody and sampling something else over that. It's pretty versatile!

You can put whatever sounds you want on it, then play them - that's what a "sampler" does.
