  • Good for U!!! Congratulations on your cleanse and weightloss.

  • How much does it cost on a weekly basis to do the fast? Any tips?? I started a couple days ago:-)

  • @hilairybuck depends on where you live. $100+ generally

  • @LovingRaw Crazy man. I just buy giant bags of apples, oranges, etc for 5 dollars a bag. Organic too! Cost me about 30-45 dollars a week to juice fast or feast.

  • why do you eat salda for? if you drink smoothie?

  • Thanks for sharing.

  • do you just drink a green smoothie all day and night for a 100 days?

  • i thought you just drink green smoothies for 100 days,. i didnt know you could drink all other kind of juice,.

  • Even on shorter juice feasts, I've noticed a loss of energy when you break it. Also bloating, etc. I am kinda where you were at the beginning, establishing a solid base for a real "juice feast." I'm surprised you didn't seem to follow the juice feast protocol, with the mandatory green juice every morning for cleansing, etc., but did some water and coconut only also.

Curious, did you do the other "juice feast" protocols for toxic elimination.

Kudos to you on this amazing journey.

  • I'm going to do a juice feast for 10-25 days as a cleanse... Is it better to juice vegetables & fruit or making smoothies?

  • This was very good bro, lots of info . I enjoyed the in depth talk about it. Cheers

  • grt clip

  • Were those raw foods organic? The switching to more food is just the digestion system adjusting to the switch but i guess you'd know that.

  • Thank U....;0)

  • thank you so much for this vid. It was important for me because I was nervous about doing the juice feast only because I am sooooo very new to Raw foods. I am now more sure that I will continue to first build a foundation then go on a raw feast. I feel really great already having started my journey. Thank you so much Phillip

  • really useful and great vlog

  • I have been seriously thinking about doing a small juice feast, to try it out, over christmas :) I am 100% raw or maybe 98 but I haven't got a dehydrater or a good blender for some recepies so I think it is easier to just juice my way through the holiday instead of use time to research and use money I dont have on expencive ingrediants and applyances for elaborate raw xmas food :) Next year I might do that but I wanna try the 3 month juice feast this summer and I wanna just try it out before too

  • I think a good idea is to do the fast juice for one day. If you feel good after that, you do another day. If you feel good, do it for a second day and so on. If you feel bad a certain point, then have some proteins like nuts.

  • just bought a juicer and cabage juice is

    unbelievable good

please give me the best recipes for juice

and thank you for going into this fast for us and helping us in learnung what to exspect

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhh. much appreciated. been procrastinating on doing my quarterly 20 days fast. now i'm ultra motivated to make it longer and focus on coming off right! yeah. thanks bro~ respect! one love~

  • Thank you. I just started my juice feasting. Hope to hold on for 92 days. I have some health issues, also losing 20 pounds would be beneficial.

  • Seems like a very extreme decision to make. I might consider a month juice feast, but I honestly know myself enough to know that psychologically, it would not be a good idea for me to pursue.. You need fat, even if I did a juice feast, to not eat fat is kinda dumb, because a lot of those vitamins are lipid soluble, and you wouldn't even exploit the total nutrition of what you are drinking.. Doesn't make sense. Thanks for sharing your honest experience, sounds like you know what your doing.

  • Humph, well what's stopping you from mixing some good profiled oil into your juice? OK, it wouldn't be a strict juice feast then, but so what, eh. My beef is what about the pulp, the whole food? You can't seriously juice an avocado. My friend's qualm was it would be too sweet. Then I told her that greens, for instance, embitter in a nice nutritious way, rounding out, balancing the tastes, & so broadening nutrition too. It could give digestion a break, freeing the body's energies for healing

  • fat is good like flax oil in your smoothie and juice thumbs up if you agree

  • is there anything special (nutrition wise) that you need to know before you juice feast? Some sort of order of what to drink when?

  • i think im gonna start this 100 juice fast today. i've been doing a lot of research and i think i can do it. and my body & mind deserves it.

  • This is the first and only video of yours that I've seen so far, and you have such an amazing attitude towards life! I love it!! I couldn't help but smile. I've been vegetarian for a few months and I'll be doing a 30 day RAW challenge. I had never heard of juice feasting before, but it seems interesting. With the raw challenge, I'll be drinking mostly juices as my meals as fruits and veggies usually hurt my teeth since they are cold. I just may look in to this after. Thanks for the info!

  • I cant even go half a day without eating something:S

    Whats wrong with me?

    Is it lack of control??

  • i have had the same problem for a year or so just increase your intake of raw juices mostly leafy greens ,all the best, i have done this an d now i tend to deslike ooked food ,and prefer green juices/or raw food all the best.

  • It's probably just that the first days are the hardest. It's like going to space: The first minutes in the spacecraft are hell because you're trying to get away from Earth's attraction. Once in space, it's easy.

  • yo bro from your other videos i can tell you are real and want to help people, great job. i started to do a green drink in the morning and night and avocado during the day but i want to do the juice fast for 7 days or so. so how much juice did you drink and how often and how about water? i do collards, chard, cucumbers, cellery, kale, beet greens, anything green in the garden and it does curb my hunger. any advice? mahalo and aloha

  • Does juice feasting protect the metabolism better than juice fasting? Can you make juices ahead of time in the day ( 5 or so hours ahead of time) or will it lose all of the enzymes?Or would freezing be better? Im in college, so i only have small windows of time to juice without the noise bothering people, so it would be nice to make it ahead of time.

  • Hi, thanks so much for sharing your experience. Did you take all those crazy supplements recommended by David Rainoshek? I was doing a search on juice feasting, I'm thinking about doing it in the near future. Any books or websites that helped you figure it out? I've been 100% raw for about 10 weeks now, two cooked meals, which really messed me up. I did a green smoothie gig for a week, felt great!

    thanks,

    Leslie

  • Can you do a video showing how you make your green drink?

  • Can anyone permanently juice feast?

  • I don't think so. I don't believe that our bodies were created for just juices. Eat raw fruits and vegetables is one thing, but this seems a little extreme!!!

  • The main concern about an extended juice fast is protein and calcium deficiencies, which are are a fairly serious matter. Otherwise its possible.

  • It was good to hear about the experience... something I am looking forward to myself.

  • I think you look healthier in this video then on the video when you were eating your first food. Anyway, thanks for the videos and I'm checking out your sight. very nice!

  • did you make your own juice or did you buy pre packaged juice?

  • I made my own.. prepackaged has been heated already.

  • just dont over do it man u starting to lockk too thin.....you know i say thiscause i love you rite?

  • This vid is a wonderful blessing for newbies in fasting/juicing. You spoke a lot of truth and confirmed some things with me. I've fasted for 25 days on fruit, focusing on lots of berries. This was a recommendation for me and I went into it with a lot of resistance. I was supposed to go for 30 days but because of the initial resistance to the fast and the space that I was in it was torture. I remember eating like a maniac coming off the fast. I love fasting but it wasn't the time for me.

  • Such great wisdom here. Thank you for taking the time to put this together Phil. You are an inspiration in so many ways! xx

  • yea, i can drink juice all day without missing food, i would probably never want to come off it lol

  • I have been off track for awhile. Been eating raw again for the last 2 months. Feeling better but not as well as I did when I first went raw. I think after watching these videos I am going to prepare for a Juice feast on Sept 1. Thank youfor your honest videos!

  • No worries girl, just keep smiling. I think you are doing awesome. Juicing... fun stuff!

  • Congratulations at taking the time to make adjustments in your life. Switching to a high amount of raw food will really make a change. I found the weight really comes of the fastest when you are 100% raw, and cut out meats which still contain cholesterol. But every step is amazing. Go for it!

  • I'm 339lbs Im 6'3 I had knee surgery and really blew up. Your videos have given me the confidence to do the Raw Diet. I'm done with my detox from caffine and coca cola and I'm juicing and eating salads just like you said. It's delicious ! My goal is 200lbs. My B/p is 160/100 I'm sure it will go down. I have no cravings for junk food. I always made fun of Vegans! I'm not giving up meat, I'm just making 95% of my diet during the week raw fruits and vegetables. THANK YOU!

  • Great advice, thanks Philip!

  • Your body is getting protein from all the wonderful greens that I was drinking, and added E3Live and Spirulina.

  • How can your body survive without protein?I've only done a 7 day fast lol...but I did feel amazing.I can't imagine 100 days!!

  • When you say you had a hallow emptiness in your stomach during your juice feast, what do you mean? (e.g., hunger pains or actual pain etc.)

  • No hunger pains or actual pain at all... it was a good emptiness. A feeling of being light and free from food.

  • hey Phillip..your such a great speaker--

  • Everything in due time. : )

  • yes, its been a while mister :] glad your back.

  • Phil, Thank you so much for this video. I love how in touch you are and how beautifully you communicate your observations, with honesty and without judgement. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us.

  • Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I have been thinking about doing a juice feast. Right now I am high raw. Did you do juice or smoothies? Like from a juicer or a blender? Very informative video, it answered a lot of questions for me.

  • I did just juices, from a juicer.

  • Philip thank you for a great vlog! It is so important to stress how the transition time after any kind of fast needs as much care, consideration and time as the fast/protocol itself. I'm in the midst of a healing protocol right now that is very low glycemic low fat and the 6 weeks following it are perhaps even more important for the body to reset and balance. I will be transitioning in a couple weeks and so this post is especially timely & informative for me right now.

    Namaste

    -Jen (langelbleu)

  • Glad to be able to help. Your amazing!

  • XOXOX :-D thanks Philip!
