  • This scientist has discovered a great truth the one thing he is unsure of is how the earth grows or what makes it grow from within itself. To understand this you have to understand the bible and spiritual things like hell. As I learned it Hell grows. It actually enlarges itself to fit more souls.

  • Ok I understand all about the earth ok let me explain this all to you as I learned it. The earth used to be smaller in fact it was a green ball of jungle and everything grew larger and lived longer then. There was more Co2 more atmosphere pressure less gravity and a very much stronger magnetic field as well as some other things, The earth grows because hell grows inside of it.I know I lost you all here but listen ok, this is correct, The history of the earth is written in Genesis and Enoch.

  • I took astronomy in college and I do not remember the exact estimate but there is tons of dust (in the order of thousands of tons or millions of tons) accumulating every day from space and since the greater the mass the greater the gravity it follows that it would accumulate at an ever increasing rate. So though that does not necessarily mean that it is expanding at this rate, or that it is the cause of continental displacement. But it must be expanding for it is positively gaining mass.

  • It makes sense that continents can fit together; but is the Earth is expanding, where the additional matter is coming from? is that matter being formed by an event that is similar to the "big bang" ?. another point is the oceans waters, is it coming in from outer space? Third point is time needed for this Earth expansion; I am told of a figure of 180 Millions years, which seems to me to be very short.

  • Ridiculous.

  • The growing Earth is the second goofiest pseudoscience I've ever heard about, the first one being "flying rods".

  • Where does the missing mass come from ?

  • a star for you, good boy

  • Ouch ! My head is expanding ! !

  • Now do you make rock grow?

  • @gregrutz hurl it through space at 186,000 miles a sec

  • I have also joined the continents and found several interesting facts. One is that Mars surface area is exactly the size of our continents not including the ocean basin. The simple fact is that Mars is an exact replication of our planet but 180 million years younger that's why it lacks sufficient magnetic field to encompass the planet as does Earth. You could say that the moons of Mars and our moon are barometers for the magnetic field. Growth requires a decline in planetary inclination

  • I don,t know really if the earth is exspanding? but I do know that the sunlights Mass? adds 41/2 pounds of mass onto the earth every second for over 4 billion yrs, in other words light equals mass & vice versa E=mc/2 so every second the sun shines on the planet it is really adding that four & a half pounds of mass wheather this is whats happening I don,t know I"m not a physics man but its a fact about the sun and the mass so if you can figure this out I,d like to hear your theory please thanks,

  • @55painterman Light has no mass. You have misread the one science article you seem to have read in your whole life(probably only read the title and extrapolated incorrectly). The sun shoots out other things besides photons. All the stars are adding mass through the particles they shoot out, not light. Light = photons btw. You have made me lose a lot of hope for the future. I didn't know ignorance of science was this bad.

  • @camoflux youre actually not 100% correct. light has negligable mass but photons are still matter and therefor they take up space. if you smash them together you can create a variety of particles so youre right about the sun giving off more than photons but you shouldnt go around pointing out ignorance bc the truth is, we are ALL ignorant in one way or another. Just bc someone has a theory it doesnt mean its wrong and to be honest, we should never convince people we are 100% correct

  • @55painterman

Does this include the new gap in the magnetosphere that is said to be four times the diameter of earth. I don't think your taking that under account

  • @55painterman The E=mc^2 equation is used to calculate the amount of energy we get from a set amount of mass, not the other way around, meaning light does not transform into mass. So the sun has not been adding weight into earth, and even if it did, the earth wouldn't be expanding, new mass would be laid on top of the old one.

  • If the Earth is expanding we can just measure it and confirm of reject this idea. That's how science works. TEST IT! DO MEASUREMENTS! Has any one bothered to check out the scientific literature on this subject? I have. There is no evidence that this is anything more than crackpot pseudoscience nonsense. Modern geodetic measurements show NO evidence that the earth is expanding. In fact, it's probably SHRINKING due to the fact that the core is cooler than it once was.

  • @Ansonidak How do you explain the chord length increase between Australia and South America?

  • when things get HOT they expand, and if the center of the earth given it is not hollow, which can be also possible, is that it will try to expand, exactly like they explain here, when you boil an egg for a long period of time, it expands and breaks the shell right?

  • @patan77

So on that notion, why is the sun not expanding? If it's centre is extremely hot?

It is yet to have become a red giant.

  • makes total sense, IF science accepts even the sun will end up expanding and eating the whole solar system and then implode, why in hell they dont even try to study this seriously? there is so much hidden fro the common man in the world!

we are blindfolded and the funny thing when people try to investigate deeper they get laughed at... this makes a lot of sense, it even looks like what normal planets would do, the simple explanation is:

  • @patan77 Nothing is hidden. This is clearly available to you. People choose to be ignorant. You seem to be one of them. Maybe it's because you trust the idiot box as a good source of information. Must be that. CNN is not a science journal...

  • @patan77 The sun is structurally very different from the earth. One is made of plasma, the other of rock, so you can't expect the two to behave in similar ways. And no, the sun, while it will expand, it will not eat the whole solar system. The belief that you have been lied to is no excuse to disregard facts, or to dismiss theories out of had without checking their validity thoroughly. And having checked this expanding earth theory, i've found it lacking to say the least.

  • I'd suggest to make model of expanding earth in the orbital station, from liquid which slowly tickens at contact with air. Maybe form epoxide glue. Maybe It would show some interesting phenomenons. Hardest thing would be to provide very slow and equable pressure form inside. Maybe it could be achieved just with continuous feeding of material through small tube... also tempo of feeding must grow with size of model.

  • Neal Adams is right

    The Earth is expanding

The expanding Universe is the cause of it.

Click my name watch my YouTube (3 minutes) video> "The Cause of Gravity" This is the first step..

  • Why is he using Pangea as the starting point. That is arbitrary since there were many other supercontinents prior to Pangea.

He accepts the science that forms Pangea while rejecting the exact same science that says there was continental drift long before Pangea was formed.

  • @jtyson55 I disagree with your interpretation. Using pangea is a good place to start because that is what is left after pealing away of the skin of the earth as it expanded. Like the peel of an orange when pressed flat and then placed over the pulp of a bigger orange or a small grapefruit. I am not going to cling to a theory that is suffering from it's own brand of subduction.

  • We know that North America and Europe are moving apart at 1 or 2 cm a year. Is that the rate of growth now? Unfortunately, North America and Asia are moving towards eachother at the same rate...

Also, why is Baja California moving north up the west coast of North America?

  • @jtyson55 Very good point. I believe that the growth happens in various points around the deep sea cracks and then gravity then takes over keeping the world into a sphere. If your observations are correct then a current position of expansion would be below Greenland. Check it in google earth. As cracks can be quite random, and the general direction is not N,S,E or West but rather out localized chunks could go any direction. This solves Dinosaur Anatomy problems too. Less Gravity way back!

  • This explains how the fishies got to the land and how we have alot of land animals this day.. Earth was one big sea before, and when its expanding the water levels goes down. Then the landmass sticks out of the water and those little fishies got stuck on land, and then grew some legs according to Darwin's Theory. :)

  • ... large deep impacting dense asteroids explain much of this described expansion & contraction force on the crust quite well when you include the lingering kinetic induced off gassing impactor effect that causes volume fluctuations which subside post impact; unlike a rising cake that solidifies in the risen state, the impact region increases in fluidity for a long time, acting through the mass , as is rightly explained in boyle's laws of fluid dynamics.

  • James Maxlow has done fine work here and I thank him for sharing it with us.

  • He's not a very good presenter and to be honest I'm very bored watching this. There has to be a mechanism for the expansion to occur and the current distribution pattern of earthquakes, rock formations and quite frankly lack of any evidence that the Earth is hollow shoots down his argument. The major problem with pseudoscience is it can often explain one thing very well (ie ocean floor ages) however when used to explain other phenomena it fails.

  • radius of the earth = 6000KM +

    deepest mine = 4 KM.

    deepest drill = 12KM

deepest survey (radio waves etc, I cant find).

tell me why you know for a fact the earth is not hollow.

why is this video is pseudo science?

  • @bodunchar "why is this video is pseudo science?"

Pseudo means "false" and science is the aplication of the scientific method (thats how science got its name). He is claiming to be conucting science, but he is not using the scientific method. Same thing as inteligent design.

  • Game Over.. James has it Justly done!

  • i dont have a degree in this subject, quite frankly, i'm glad i don't. i try to look at things in the most basic way. i believe when you do this, common sense conclusions result. if in the universe, we have rotation and revolution and expansion and therefore, growth, due to expansion...just the fact that the earth rotates would naturally cause expansion...same weight mind you (add meteoric accumilation), but more volume. thats common sense. mountains created by local internal pressures.

  • I've added up all the numbers and it turns out the universe is actually shrinking. The earth is also shrinking and expanding and getting more elongated. It's also getting warmer as it cools down in much the same way as a towel gets wetter as it dries.

  • Yeah, I've added them up too and......oh yeah. Man is primitive and only THINKS he understands the mysteries of the universe. I mean c'mon, we were still using horses to travel 100 yrs ago. Every week I read how scientists got something ELSE and then they all stand around and scratch their heads. Personally, I think the earth is changing into a pumpkin.

  • I saw this theory when I was 8 years old seeing a world map in school. Plate tectonics doesn't explain it. Something else is at work.

  • still just a theory but if the earths core is dense iron and nikel(still theory) then high energy output from sun would affect core much like a microwave oven heating it from the inside and if the mantle is as plastic as we think then it would be possible for the mantle to be heated by the core and because of intense pressure cause it to foam up as gasses try and escape ..the sun flare dies out and the mantle cools..earth has expanded..ever made a crayon candle and pour water in before it cools?

  • @JimboJonesManifesto microwaves don't heat from the inside out. That's an urban myth. Just a correction, not a comment on the other stuff you said.

  • So what is the growth of diameter in a year? About 3 feet? That would be so easy to prove with GPS readings. Good ones are accurate to better than an inch. That would finally give you proof. You know what proof is...it`s what none of you EE idiots have.

  • Why the hate? This is a a pier exposing his ideas. Could you have some respect even if he is wrong? It seems that people has changed little. They continue burning people for their ideas. Mr "Serious Scientist" you are an inquisitor.

  • waycool - It surprises me that you would write as if serious EE proponents had not provided a figure. Maxlow calculates a Recent 22mm/y increase in radius, based on areal age data. Others derive similar figures from other data. Robaudo and Harrison (1993), one of the first major studies of VLBI/GPS data, found an average increase of 18mm/y. There are other indications, well discussed by Maxlow in his book, of systematic downward adjustments to vertical motions in individual site solutions.

  • @waycooltoo What about the design of dinosaurs, how they engineer their design and they don't work right unless the earth had less gravity at some point? Less gravity means less mass doesn't it?

  • He sounds like he's teaching a bunch of elementary students... A logical geologist would laugh at this.

  • I am not laughing.

  • @michaelson88 People also laughed at Plato, Copernicus, and even Einstein.

  • Flat Earth myth mate... no one believed in such a thing.

  • the way i see it if the earth has grown the oribt hasn't changed looking at it from a radius point of view we've perhaps gotten closer by 6000k's with to me seems like nothing in comparsion to far we are away from the sun any way.

  • if this is true and the earth was smaller in the past then it wouldn't it have been colder? a smaller earth means less mass less mass means the earth would have been further from the sun further away means it would have been colder?

  • what? how do you explain jupiter and saturn and their placement in the solar system if mass determines placement?

  • It's more along the lines of density my friend...

  • It could have been denser

  • One would think so

Also, wouldn't the gravity have been different too?

  • it was. if u look at the physique of dinosaus, t-rex for example, its very inefficient for todays gravity. His head would be to heavy for his nackmuscles. but if the gravity was around a quarter of todays, it would be so most efficient physique, formed by evolution. u can proof it yourself.

  • You're essentially correct, but you should give acknowledgement to Neal Adams for his efforts as well.

  • Earth Expansion has its proof in the Receding Seas. Why has sea level dropped by 16000 feet since pre historical

times? The answer must be that the Planet has Expanded. Is this concept so hard to grasp? Yes it is for we dont even know that the seas have receded by such a large margin. Worse yet we still dont even know that the recession is still going on. We have to throw out old concepts like Isostatic Rebound, Sea level Datum and Mountain Growth. Check Sea Levels that is the key deception QED

  • The sea level is roughly the same now as it was in the late Carboniferous period, some 320 Million years ago. Sea level has fluctuated between massive extremes, and has not been a constant. The bizarre thing is - if the Earth really was expanding - why has the sea level fluctuated around a median value? The planet hasn't turned into a desert, nor a water world.

It's too anthropocentric, and quite unlikely.

  • You are talking about historical timelines - you really should explain why the sea level during the Ordovician (about 460 million years ago) was over 200m above the current level, yet in the late Carboniferous (about 300 million years ago), the sea levels were about the same as today's levels.

The concept of planetary growth - even if water was being produced by the planet - is hugely unlikely, considering we have neither been flooded as a planet, nor turned into a desert.

  • what if..just a thought here..what if the core of the earth is quite like the sun itself..a gassious fussion of energy, and the reason we have a crust on earth, is because of the mass amounts of air and water that constantly cools the new born magma that breaks the surface as well as the existing crust..just something to ponder

  • I m starting to believe that the entire world is a living organism

  • don't think that is the case... i think what you are thinking of is that its a dynamic object just like the universe/galaxy/space and everything else inside it not so much a living organism.

  • It is. Everything is connected.

  • @bravoncho I am glad. We need more of this awakenings. The spiritual aspirants have always known this to be true.

  • @bravoncho the earth is a living organism, how else could the earth give life?

  • @ghost3287 This is a semantic stop. How did the Earth get life?

  • @bravoncho So the Earth has thoughts and can make the water and rocks on its surface move? How does it reproduce? What does it eat?

  • @bravoncho

It is ... all things are living including planets, solar systems, galaxies, and universes. God is the God of the living, not the dead or fixed.

  • @TheGrowingAwareness Rocks are not living dummy. Rocks don't grow or reproduce.

  • @bravoncho Try universe.

  • This evidence is pure simple logic. Science is at a loss for knowledge and truth is become the victim of wrong presumptions, in favor of the study of lies.

  • Science is not at a loss. What he is doing right now IS science.

  • I can't believe these are getting so few hits. This is groundbreaking and millions of ppl are more worried about trivial non-sense or dirtbags fighting on the street

  • The reason it's getting so few hits is because it's so painfully slow.

  • @Seano71 I had never heard of this until I stumbled upon it here on YouTube only today.

  • @Seano71 thats why we call those people sheeple :)

  • Why are all volcanic island arc systems curved? All of them. Why is the trench always on the convex side and why are the volcanoes always on the concave side. Look at any and map and you will see it.

  • my best guess: because a mantle wedge is extruding, with deep volatile rich mantle material rising at the boundary thus forming the volcanic arc. It also follows that there is compression and overthrusting in front of the arc (convex side) and and tearing at the back of the arc (back arc spreading)

  • thank you for posting this. I thought up this idea kinda on my own and was pleased to find that others have also considered it.

    Thumbs up.

  • totaly idem we could be brothers : ) I have this on my mind since the primary school
