  • Two movies really marked me as a kid: "Tourist Trap" and "The Sentinel". I just recently watched The Sentinel again and, as I suspected, it's not very creepy anymore. I'm wondering how scary this would be.

  • @dookdawg214 lol I know what you mean. I remember watching Sleepy Hollow when I was 6 or 7 and I thought it was the ultimate horror movie (kept my eyes shut through most of it) but now I'm 18 and I watched it again and it didn't give me the same effect. I was sort of disapointed :(.

  • @Cappuccino8537

Hey, you live in France. Moi aussi !

  • @dookdawg214 What a coincidence ! xD

  • 0:34 THAT FUCKING SCENE SCARED THE HELL OUT OF ME, FUCKING JESUS CHRIST.

  • Didn't know Ripper Roo was in this movie.

  • fucking weird ass movie

  • An awesome yet vastly underrated cult horror gem that House of Wax (2005) pretty much ripped off.

  • @TheAltair4

how old were you when you saw this? i was 10 and creeped me out, one of the best creepy mannequin horror movies. One of my fave horror movies! sort of like Magic meets Hills Have Eyes

  • @Johnlindsey289 I was 6 when i first saw this and it freaked me out big time, especially the opening scene. It's a really creepy film in the same spirit as Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Deranged, Hills Have Eyes, Just Before Dawn, Motel Hell etc. Those mannequins still creep me out.

  • @TheAltair4 the 2005 movie house of wax didnt rip off anything, house of wax is a remake of a movie that came out in the 50s or something like that. tourist trap came out in 1978

  • @Zooroonies You obviously haven't seen the classic 1953 Vincent Price film because it bears virtually no resemblance to the 2005 film. Yes, the 2005 film completely ripped this movie off and they slapped the title House of Wax on it just to try and cash in on the whole remake craze. It's called an "in name only" remake.

  • @TheAltair4 oh

  • "Such a pretty girl." Fantastically creepy.

  • I wish I had that mask of the laughing mannequin which sounds like the laugh from crash bandicoot for halloween this monday, could literally raise hell > D

  • @royalnaz1 how is it a rip-off if this came way first then that stupid House of Wax remake and this movie does it way better.

  • @LLawliet2 House of Wax originally came out in the 50s with Vincent Price in 3-D. The one with Paris Hilton was a remake.

  • @CelestialWoodway the vincent price version was a remake of an earlier movie mystery of the wax museum

  • giving this the green light this weekend....

  • LOOK AT YOUR FRIEND MOLLY !!!!!!!!!!!!

    MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH !

  • That was a well executed window jump

  • is this a comedy movie?

  • Awesome film. Could watch this any night.

  • I love this creepy flick!! :)

  • How did I miss this? I swear they showed every scary movie in the 80's on Rhonda Shears up all night on USA Network..LOL

  • i used to think of this as an acid hybrid of texas chain saw and scooby doo

  • the characters are a rip off of house of wax but the storyline is different from that movie.

  • In the 80s sweden this movie was one of the biggest horror movies to be released on VHS.

Together with Texas Chainsaw Massacre, this movie caused hysteria and created the so called "Video Violence". Kids rented these movies with no knowledge that it was horror movies. Parents got pissed and started debates. GREAT TIMES!!

  • ....this looks like a rip-off of House of Wax.

  • thumbs up if u laughed ur ass off instead of being scared

  • I have this on video and regard it as one of the creepiest and scariest movies I've ever seen. Probably the scariest mannequin movie ever made. Thanks.

  • Chuck Connors (The Rifleman) is the villian in this one right?

  • @BullRonin Yes he was.

  • That laughing... sounds exactly like Ripper Roo's from Crash Bandicoot >.>

  • Need help! I'm looking for a film containing mannequins, but they came to life in a town and all I remember from this film, was a mannequin with a wedding dress on, her hand opened up revealing bullets. These mannequins were shooting everyone in the town.

I've watched Tourist trap, but it's not the film I was looking for. Please help. I want to watch this horror film that I'm looking for

  • This film apparent;y solves the mystery of the unrealesed Beatles track the candle burns peace of mind,

  • this movie was rated pg....

  • Great, creepy little gem from the '70's.

  • good music score by pino donnaggio. he scored carrie and dressed to kill... can't believe he signed on to do this shlocky looking flick!

  • God I hate dolls...

  • this film scared the shit out of me when i was little

  • Those dolls scare the crap out of me!!!!

  • this was a good one....AAAHHHHHHHHH!

  • Anything with Tanya Roberts in it is worth watching.

  • i have pediophobia but this wasant that bad for me :) i feel very accomplished right now :P

  • @KonataFanGrl I noticed that right near the end. Ususally when one of the puppets is wandering the hallways.

  • This looks like it inspired that crappy House of Wax movie.

  • @KingTekins You right, many believe that it was indeed a remake of Tourist Trap. But they instead decided to market it as a House of Wax remake, since the original starring Vincent Price was such a huge box-office hit.

  • This is still a movie that creeps me out, even to this day!

  • Oh shit that's scary. So freaky I paused it and am going to close it for another day.

  • looks good

  • Comment removed

  • while i watched it i've heard some melodies from the score of Seed of Chucky, and... the composer is the same PINO DONAGGIO :D

  • Stop;he's giving me a facial.

  • I can see where this movie would creep people out. The mannequins alone would scare the crap out of me with their big mouths opening like the way they do. If you ever wanted to make a kid have nightmares then this is the movie to show them. LOL

  • This is one of the creepier movies of the era. Really underrated little film with a seriously dark undertone and eerie atmosphere. The mannequins are truly frightening, and the ending...well, you'll have to watch. Great little fright flic.

  • OMG these is scary, it have lil bits of chucky with saw :D

  • freaky movie But good!!!

  • dude, i can tell how much this movie scared me when i was a kid

  • dude, i can tell how much this movie scared me when i was a kid

  • The chick at 0:25 looks like Heather Graham.

  • Tourist Trap!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I saw this years ago while on acid! Really freaked me out. Strange film!

  • lol high pitcjed voices

  • im so happy i found the name of this movie...!!! scares the hell out ofme and my brothers when we were kids!!!!

  • LOVE this film. Is this posted in it's entirety somewhere on youtube?

  • This is better then every other horror movie ive seen!

  • OMG are thouse Killer Wooden Dollys O.o

  • What happened to jerry at the end?

  • I'd like some more crackers,please.

  • This is the most epic horror film i've seen. "YOUR A PRETTY GIRL" lol

  • @UrbanGuerilla88 LOL, I like his, "Hey, little girl! Little giiiiirrrrllll!"

  • The soup is very good.

  • This looks really weird! Is it worth it?

  • @beretta1342000 YES!

  • Where can I watch this filth?

  • The scariest part of the film is where the killer ties the girl up and covers her face in plaster. And while he's doing it, he describes to her how it will feel when she suffocates and how her lungs will feel like they're burning. As a kid, I remember being horribly traumatized by that scene. Scary stuff.

  • and this is rated pg o_O

  • @zack9786 Back then there was no PG - 13, so it was either R or PG. So since the film had really no blood, PG it is.

  • like evil dead....

  • This is one of Stephen King's favorite movies.

  • I love the music in this movie! Creepy.

  • This movie was freaky as a kid and funnily enough carries the same warped feel about it even today for me. Even though the special effects are quite lame in comparison to todays cinema, it is far more creepy than most of it.

Anyone ever see that movie pin? The guy ends up thinking he is the human anatomy doll or something along those lines? Another warped film indeed.

  • its all fun and games till you get crushed by creepy mannequins.

  • I LOVE THIS MOVIE!

  • mind=blown

  • 0:35 - LOL!

  • This trailer reminds me of house of wax

  • Comment removed

  • I got this movie on DVD. Watched it hundreds of times as a Kid. I'm 25 now & still love it.

  • I bet they will be a remake of this movie sometime in the future.

  • I love how these old trailer's announcers repeat movie's title again and again :)

  • this looks utterly psychotic. And i heard its pg rated.

  • That's about as cheesy as it gets. That's worst than Pee Wees Playhouse. lol

  • my spelling lol but yea Very good for its age and also the trailer was made sutable for all aduances so trust me it must worse

  • Very good for its afe and also the trail was made sutable for all aduances so trust me it must worse

  • LMFAO! 1:39

  • If I'd seen this when i was a kid it would have scared the shit out of me.

  • this is a heck of a classic! XD I loved this movie to death. I mean, come on! a psychic slasher?! we never came up with something like that anymore which makes this a special and unique slasher!

plus, we got a campy villian!

  • i just love this movie! 1978! i wasnt even born yet! i was born in the year of Friday The 13th part 2...1981! and grew up watching the rest of Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers and Freddy Krueger! hahaha. But when i watched this movie a couple of days ago, i really appreciate it! "pretty little gurl!"

  • tourist trap XD

  • something crazy is going on at the tourist trap

  • what is this movie about?

  • This was a little known but creepy little flick from the '70's. Oddly enough, there was very little gore at all in this film, and yet it was far more creepier than a lot of the over-the-top splatter epics that the public has been tortured with as of late.

  • @FiendsInRedSatin1

That is what most horror are missing today. They are to caught up on special effects and not suspense. Plus there isnt much orginal ideas out there and so much remakes are being made this decade. That is why when paranormal activity came out it did so well because of how it used suspense.

  • @scatman813 I agree wholeheartedly. I believe "Blair Witch Project" (although the idea has been ridden into the ground now by imitators and one could make the case that even "BWP" borrowed its idea from a '70's splatter film) was so popular because of the suspense and genuine scares it delievered even though there were no FX at all in the movie. (I've not gotten around to seen "Paranormal Activity" but it's on my "get list".)

  • I love this movie, i remember when I was 12 and sceaming much..

  • Wow these movies are really freaky. The new ones cant beat these.

  • that looks creepy!!!

  • where did u order it??? i'd love to get it !!! thnx!!!

  • OMG i have been looking for the name of this movie for years and i had NO idea what it was til NOW..TY now i can order it.. :)

  • just ordered it and i cant wait x

  • Was a great movie.

  • Soo...when's Hollywood going to remake this? I heard Rob Zombie's into remakes these days. haha

  • I don't know why you've got 5 marks against you. It was 6 but I got it down to 5. Best I could do. Anyway you're absolutely right, all Hollywood do these days is either remakes or over the top big blockbuster films. If they remade this it would be full of over the top special effects. It would just be a typical 21st century over the top pile of cack.

  • It'd star a bunch of pretty faces in stereotypical roles, it'd play out like a Hills episode, and all the atmosphere and creepiness would be replaced by predictable jump out scares. The killer wouldn't even wear a cool mask, and there probably wouldn't be any creepy mannequins anywhere. So hopefully, this won't get remade. But shit, they're starting to remake the ones like House on Sorority Row, so this will probably be up for a remake soon. Damn hollywood.

  • Shit dude... You're right =s

  • This is my favourite film from 70´s. Beautiful trailer.

  • I love this flick... I saw it again recently and it still holds up from when I saw it the first time back in the early 80's... just all creepy and weird... no overdone blood... just madness and mayhem...

  • Awesome !!

  • that does look like the house of wax yet it looks very creepy, i was gona ask what the guy was putting on the womans face but im guessing that he was making her face into a mask just like what happened to the guy from supernatural in the movie house of wax.

  • The beginning is one of the creepiest things i have ever seen. But the killer in general is pretty lame! What an annoying voice!

  • fullmoon did good movies.. well empire

  • pt: Eu assiti "Armadilha para Turistas" há alguns messes. É um bom filme. Lembra muito "Casa de Cera" (2005).

en: I watched "Tourisp Trap" some months ago. Good movie. Looks like "House of Wax" (2005).

  • grant morrison must have seen this--the new henchmen villains post RIP use the same concept

  • This was a great horror movie.

  • Very very great horror film. I don't care what anyone says. It's not like the shit nowadays

  • The beginning is SO scary! The part when the murder begins te speak is too lame for words!

  • This just kinda looks like House of Wax, but sketchier because its dolls. And wow, i believe that I saw a man jumping out of a window!? Gosh, theres a first in horror movies.

  • I like the creepy vibe this film has going on it... and still it is just a PG film. It is effectively good and scary as an R rated film.

I wish I could find it again. When I was a child I was too young to apreciate the film for what it was -- I am sad to say.

  • Got to

     Subscribe

Unsubscribe p3nnyfearful channel she has it posted here on Youtube

  • :51 this is EXACTLY what you should do when mannequins are after you.

  • the movie looks cute ;)

  • omg,that movie looked damn scary,but still,i gotta see it!:D

  • This movie scared the living crap out of me when I was a kid, and it's still pretty creepy to me now. I love the way it's just kind of like a nightmare - disturbing things happen, and there's no explanation, just like a bad dream. Scary as hell!!!

  • I really enjoyed this film, It is one of the most under-rated horror films of all time.

  • Very... scary?? lol..

  • this movie fukin rules!

the ending shot is great and creepy as fuck to me...

  • This film has the "do'nt go in that" for example Eileen when she hears old people arguing she goes inside.

  • its kinda like house of wax but sicker

  • Ok I first saw this when I was a kid and it scared the shit out of me. Especially the scenes with the ugly singing mannequins with the big mouths. I had to change the channel.

  • Totally. My sister and I were being babysat at our parents friends house, in rural New Jersey. This was like 81'/82'. This movie came on public TV, we were totally terrified and transfixed. The movie stayed with us; we watched it again about 4 years ago. Totally rad...

  • is this out on dvd

  • Yep

  • wow this looks awesome gotta watch it

  • *in description* "If you know of a young child with a fear of dolls who you would like to psychologically scar for his or her entire life, well, this would be the movie to do that with." lmao evillllllll

  • Ahhhhhh, the old days :) *Sighs*

  • The Rifleman errr I mean Tourist Trap *CAH BANG CAH BANG CAH BANG* Starring Chuck Connors

  • Chuck Connors' Finest Performance since "the Mad Bomber"

  • FREAKS ME OUT

  • Strange really, terrible trailer but excellent film! Really a very subtle film with beautiful music. Very imaginative. Really, the film is about loneliness and the things it can do to the human mind. It makes Slausen both superhuman but also subhuman.

  • The music for "Tourist Trap" was done by Pino Donaggio, who also did the soundtracks for "Carrie" (1976 version), "Dressed To Kill" and "Body Double". His film music is outstanding!

  • Thank you. Yes the score certainly brings out the subtleties of the film. Those other films you mentioned also had excellent scores, though I haven`t seen Body Double yet.

  • I liked the final tableau, she wouldn't leave her friends behind.

  • This Movie looks so funny

  • It's not funny, it's one of the creepiest fucking story's ever written, I shit you not. Awesome movie

  • I love this movie, it was a mix

    of Texas Chainsaw Massacre,

House of Wax, and the Funhouse

LOVE THE MUSIC, everything was so errie.

  • shitty movie.

  • oh yeah

  • for an old horror movie it's fucking awesome. Go watch scream or some gay slasher shit.

  • yeah shitty movie...mr schmoeller was never a good director...98 percent of the movie industry and critics knows & thinks the same ...pfff...why to compare it with chainsaw massacre?... chainsaw is a classic... this is ...just at best...ridiculously funny and i dont think that it was schmoeller initial real intention ahahaha

  • It's really a scary movie, much better than a lot of the stupid horror movies made for cinema at the present time.

  • After watching this movie recently I have no doubt that the recent "House of Wax" movie copied a lot from this.

  • No the original House Of Wax was before this the recent one was a remake from the original

  • I was talking about the remake, not the original.

  • I actually wouldn't mind seeing a remake of this.

  • This video is so funny...it just makes me laugh so loud, especially the last part, with all those open-mouthed crying dolls...

    wow!

  • ya well the movie is fucking nuts, in a good way.

  • This film creeped me out when I was a kid, and it still does!

  • mmmhhh... so this movie was only made for kids... only angelic and innocent souls can find it horrible and scary....

  • It's nothing like HOW or Friday the 13th it's completely on its own as far as I can tell (it's telekinesis Kyle!). It's a creepy little film :)

  • This looks so cool! Thanks for osting this video!

  • The narrator in this clip is Danny Dark. He was most known as the voice actor for Superman in the 70's-80's SuperFriends cartoons. He was also well known for commercials, like Keebler products.

  • danny dark! that s so cliche...where do he found his name? ...was it z wicked toy in a Kellogs Corn Flake pack!?....

  • creepy shit...classic cheese horror...good stuff. :)

  • I wanna be sodomized in a mannequin orgy!! It's not fair, why do blonds get to have all the fun!!!

  • This movie sucked.
