What the hell are you talking about? This song came out in 1978, while Wicker Man came out in 2000. Running Wild was from before Maiden even existed. So, if anyone's a stealer, than it's Maiden. But I think it's coincidence.
Ripper did get respect for what he did, but in some ways I don't think he got enough, i mean he replaced Halford and did a great job! He is a very impressive singer and if given the chance to stay with Priest and write they could have continues without rob.
I wish someone put up some rare Maiden sound checks. Can you imagine some of the stuff they play at sound checks that they never play live?
I saw them during the Ed Hunter tour and a friend of mine worked for radio station at the time. I was able to go to their sound check. They played Caught Somewhere In Time, Moonchild, Alexander the Great, and To Tame a Land. Wish I would've been able to record it somehow.
That just kinda proves how boring they are. Half the setlist have been the same the last 20 years. They should just do their fans a favour, leave out songs like Run to the Hills and play for example Alexander the Great!
