This song wasn't supposed to be sung like this its a bitter song about the confusion of love the Hallelujah shouldn't be sung with so many people because that implies its a joyful song! This is an awful cover and if u begin to understand the power and sheer bitter emotion of the original you will see how much of a mock this is. Its like High School Musical doing a cover of Candle in the Wind its just not right! I just felt as though i needed to make this point.

This isn't bad cover really. She is no Leonard Cohen. The song doesn't really suit her - it's too cerebral for her voice. Kind of bummed at how they trimmed it. For all its bombast, it lacks the power of Cohen's original.  Still, it's a decent offering.

I lust can't stop listening to this song, it is one of the all time greats. I personally have listened to I guess everyone's version of it, and this young ladies version is simply the best. She has been blessed with a heavenly voice for this song, and if anyone say's that her version sucks then one would have to believe that your motives are driven by factors other than her beautiful voice, or her innate ability to sing. My favourite version will always be Jeff Buckleys. He made it his complete own, and Leonard cohen himself said that buckley's own version influenced how cohen performs it live.
