Yeah, but what doesn't fit is the art direction... while the song and and the history on it seems to be mature, serious and complex, the 3D animation looks infantile and inanimated. That would be a better idea to do this with real filming or as a comic secuences or at least with traditional animation mixed with postproduction effects...

I always liked Jason the best - and you can hear his take on "Bleed" from this album if you find a b-side called "There Now I've Said It" which has the exact same music, just different words. If you liked How to Start a Fire, you'll dig it.

Which "first" album are you talking about, exactly...definitely saw them play live with Chris Carrabba, back around the release of the From 27th and State split EP with Recess Theory...not to mention having been a fan since the days when the entire band (minus Chris) was Strongarm. I have to say, as well, that Chris's version of FSF's cover of Weezer's "Say it Ain't So" (which is very hard to find now, but it exists) is in my opinion, a much better version than the version with Jason.

The first album is the first full length. You don't generally call a split a full length album . . . I listened to Strongarm as well, as well as shai hulud and FSF (which I heard about b/c of strongarm). Chris is a great singer, but the music was still incredibly well written. This isn't any more radio friendly than "the moon is down" at all. I disagree with you that this band's song writing is not good without chris. They are amazing. I like Chris singing a lot, but they are great either way.
