Montana won 4 superbowls, in none of them had an interception. He always played very well and did few mistakes in important games. Besides, in the 80´s (when Montana was playing) the rules were diferent and the quarterbacks did not have the protection like now, it was more dificult for them.

They were punished for circumventing the NFL rules after being warned on several occassins. The fact they continued to do this up to 2007 throws doubt on all their accomplishments. 3 SB wins by 3 poinst each in the last seconds. The slighetest competitive edge would have tilted those games.

Joe Montanna is the best quarterback in history.
Montana won 4 superbowls, in none of them had an interception. He always played very well and did few mistakes in important games. Besides, in the 80´s (when Montana was playing) the rules were diferent and the quarterbacks did not have the protection like now, it was more dificult for them.
I´m fan of Cowboys but I know Montana is 100 times better than Romo.

nolan and smith made up,they had problem like every coach QB have...u no y they had a problem?bc nolan started playing smith wen he had a 3rd degree seperatin shoulder like on monday night, he never put smith on IR right away. hill and smith will compete,hill played very good he never took a snap in 6 yrs and threw 5 TDs over 100 plus rating and beat TB/CIN, hill came out of nowhere like romo.put i still think smith will win bc he looked very good wit bad oline no WRs.i luv smith style

Frank Gore doesn't play in the same universe as Emmitt Smith. Gore is a liability in pass blocking and is already on the slide to mediocrity.
If Frank Gore can rush for half the yards Emmitt did over his career he will be a called a success.
The Dallas Cowboys have a history unsurpassed by any team. The fact they did it starting in 1960 as a franchise is unbelieveable.

In his 1st full season as a starter Romo has already thrown more TD's then any SF 49er QB. Now that's funny. In only 2 years as a starter Romo has made the ProBowl both seasons. In only 26 starts Romo is 19-7.

Jerry Jones and Jimmy Johnson took over a 3-13team and in only 4 years built a SB Champion. As bad as Dallas has been since 2000 they still have won more games then the 49ers have since then. It's called free agency. That's what took apart the Dallas Cowboys in the 1990's. in 1996 They still beat both SB participants and the 49ers in candlestick. Injuries and lack of depth due to FA brought them down. The Cowboys are once again on the way to being dominant while the 49ers remain mired in the basement. The Niners not much better then a 2-14 team and Dallas will hammer them on their way to a SB championship in 2008.

Terrell started acting like a spoiled child and forced the 49ers to get rid of him. Mike Martz was run out of St'L and Detroit. Frank Gore will be lucky to get 15 carries a game with Martz. The niners QB's are gomma get hammered. That Monday night game against Seattle was a picture of things to come this year.

Dallas lost 3 SB by a total of 11 points. 2 losses by a mere 4 points in seesaw games against the Steelers and a last second FG to the Colts. Every SB they won they dominated. The 49ers played sadly outmatched teams with the exception of the Dolphins in 1984. The Broncos, Chargers and Bengals were average at best. I'm happy knowing the Cowboys have a better franchise record then the 49ers, have won more PO games, have more PO appearances, have more SB appearances and did it in 14 fewer seasons.

They were punished for circumventing the NFL rules after being warned on several occassins. The fact they continued to do this up to 2007 throws doubt on all their accomplishments. 3 SB wins by 3 poinst each in the last seconds. The slighetest competitive edge would have tilted those games.
No people who talk about this just don't like cheaters which the Patriots have been convicted of by evidence of the fine and loss of darft pick. The Senate investigation will shed more light on this.

By your reasoning then Trent Dilfer, Doug Williams, Jeff Hostetler and Mark Rypien are better QB's than Marino. You are stupid. Montana was on an OUTSTANDING team that would have won without him. Score should have been 59-10. Reich was over the line of scrimmage on a TD pass and Lett should have put the ball away.

dude y do u live the past? i feel the same way bout the SB against broncos where the score was 56-10 but the score could have been 56-3 if refree didnt call a penalty,and the score was already 56-3 in the 3rd QR and we were so stupid that we just ran the clock out i wish we tryed to go for 60,we put our backups and ran the time out.
