  • Downset were fuckin INTENSE! One of the best live acts I've ever seen. LEGIT!

  • lol is that roy mayorga on the drums?????

  • I love DOWNSET and BIOHAZARD the same way.

    Try this :

    watch?v=nX3mWXnpdx4

And hear this drum intro :

    watch?v=AV0Qr1hKXNc

    AAAAARRRGGHHH !!!

    In my heart forever.

  • Oh my god so amazing stajla one of my favourite one

  • STUCK MOJO YO! That being said, Downset is one of the few kick ass original rap/rock acts

  • He was probally saying that there were none better then DOWNSET. Clawfinger wasnt rap and never was 9mm .not the way downset done it. Biohazard were good with SAOTA an mateo leo. And u could call them rap/metal. In my opinion Downset were better then RATM. ITh first time =i heard anger it was game over

  • Downset is one the best hardcore/rap/metal bands..... this is not HXC as its tagged..... The real rap metal stuff!!

  • dont forget about stuck mojo

  • downset forever... italy..

  • i miss the hardcore days

  • me too dude

  • downset kicked sooo much asssss

  • REJECT THE MINDSET!!!

  • must have been a sweet show. Roy is playing on snots drum kit. Downset then Snot.

  • Comment removed

  • Roy Ratta mayorca in drummer? ex shelter and ex soulfly?

  • Awesome band. Brings me 15 years back.

  • this is Downset and they've been here for YEARS! Just because they aren't mainstream junk like LB and Eminem

  • Roy mayorga is such a fuckin legend, i mean hes been in such great bands like soulfly, stone sour, THIS, hes just awsome!!!

  • think they doing it longer than m&m and

    limpbizkit

downset is nice (for gospelrock hahah)

  • Go listen music first then comment about the Downset's influences. How can u compare this to EMINEM & LIMP BIZKIT for fuck sake!?

  • Limp Bizkit formed in '95

Social Justice formed in '87, changed their name into Downset. in '92 and released a demo in '93. In '94 the self-entitled album was released.

Rage Against the Machine formed in '91 and released a demo the same year.

Zack de la Rocha's hardcore band Inside Out was formed in '88

Rey Oropeza of Downset auditioned among others for Rage Against the Machine after de la Rocha left the band in 2000.

  • Dude where have you lived, in a isolator? Downset was way before LB and Eminem shit.

  • awesome band,I love them!

  • the best band, serious band

  • Kings!

  • Downset the most stunned group, very much for a long time to them I listen and by the way very few people knows it at us in Russia. And today about them a little that is audible. Last time like wrote that write a new album. Who knows, what at them?

  • looks like mayorga! drummer of alot of shit soulfly, crisis~! to many to think of

  • dude i thought the same thing!

  • Downset has played with like 12 fuckin drummers but this guy beat that shit up!

  • L.A. FUKKKINN RULLEZZZ

  • EMPOWER!!!

  • The drummer in this video is the actual drummer of Stone Sour...i didn't know he also played with Downset....

  • Gotta agree with TheRealSkinnyP. Its quite clear that Sint4x has no knowledge on the whole rap metal crossover genre. Try doing a bit of research before leaving stupid comments. I saw Downset supporting Pantera in '93.

  • these guys had a few albums. but like with most rap-metal bands, they didn't gain the respect that they deserved and didn't sell enough to become huge. most people are either METAL or RAP, and there's not much crossing over.

  • there's not much crossing over?? What about Rage Against the Machine, Otep, Kid Rock, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Senser, Biohazard, Cypress Hill, Boo Yaa Tribe, Faith No More, ICP, Deftones, and all the bands they themselves have influenced? What about people who listen to Rap AND Metal? Like Ice T. He listened to both growing up. Kid Rock too. Sen Dog.

  • POSITIVEEEEE!!!

  • EMPOWEEER!!

  • wow... are there any albums? they would fit perfect with my rage against the machine collection!

  • there are 2. check your people and forget the second

  • thanks champ

  • nah hes wrong theres four

    downset. (Self-Titled) (1994)

Do We Speak A Dead Language? (1996)

    Check Your People (2000)

    Universal (2004)

  • ive met these guys a few times and lemme say. they are about the coolest mutherfuckers out there. they fuckn jam live( as you can see ).

  • roy mayorga??? it's he in drums???

  • Looks like Roy Mayorga!

  • he is roy mayorga!

  • respect the masters on rap hardcore. Fuck RATM and all the other clones!

  • rage really isnt hardcore...and if you wanna go there, then all the rap/metal/harcore bands are ripping off Anthrax("im the man")..do a search on it

  • well if you want to go there dont forget johnny rotten with afrika bambatta "1982" speak about destruction. then you got anthrax w/ utfo way before im the man.all the run dmc shit before the aerosmith junk. then you got the whole nyhc sceen which first infused hiphop culture to hardcore music. biohazard and that whole onyx thing. public enemy sampling slayer's angel of death for "she watch's channel zero" dude... i think it's you that needs to do some research.

  • fuck that shit...........ratm is a great band. downset are the kings, but you are a fuckin idiot for saying ratm are clones. downset just never got the media attention because they're more explicit than ratm. fuck you for knockin good music asshole.

  • Downset rule ya bitchass

  • way too much 'verb on the vocals.

  • this song kicks everyone in the world in the face with steel toed boots

  • hell yeah... This song is bad ass!
