This guy is practically the only boss in the game that you can beat on your first try without losing almost all of your health, and it's the final boss!

I loved this game, played it for YEARS. It can be really hard in hard mode :P Only thing that dragged it down was how heavy and immobile I felt while controlling the ninja turtles. BUT the music ROCKS (most of the time) and it just a great game!

I'd say that the best would probably be TMNT 3, but it's also the hardest one. I'd say that TMNT 2 is worst, even though all three of them are good games. TMNT 2 is quite slow paced so it might get a little boring. I still like all of the three though.

Worst: TMNT 3: Radical Rescue (never played it, but it needed more enemy bosses....they downgraded the enemy selection on that one)! I think TMNT 3 was a rushed project in order to keep the Turtles popularity, which was wanning by 1993.

The second game was the best (gameplay and character use from the cartoons), but the worst in graphics (it looked like they tried too hard to make it almost 3d like, but the characters were way too stiff and most of the bosses look really stupid and/or campy.
