I just noticed I've been playing the same games recently. At least streets of rage, bioshock and mass effect. I am playing mass effect the most though, it is quite good.
i gotta tell you, if your going to get mercs one, get it on the Xbox, i have the ps2 version and it is pretty buggy, and i belive the xbox version is MUCH better in that area

Mass Effect's elevators are unbearable. Even with the game installed, they're just as long (The elevator ride is actually played real-time, and not adapted to the loading time).
I suggest that whenever possible, avoid them and use the Rapid transit system terminals instead.
Those are actually slightly shorter when installed (If I'm not just imagining that) and a lot shorter than the elevator rides.

I played Mercenaries for the PS2 and I had no problem. I love Street of Rage, all of them, they are just so addictive.
