@JCMySoulsBoast Um...Hillsong United started out as the Hillsong Youth Worship team... Hillsong LIVE is the main worship team...not that it matters. They are both lead by God. As it is HillsongLIVE has a BAND backing them...>.>

A worship TEAM does not have a BAND...they are two totally diferent terms with different dynamics and connotations. Although I see what you mean about Live being backed by a band...they are all involved and help each other. But United has made it clear that they are a BAND. Worship band and worshp team- two different things with the same purpose but different dynamics.

@AndSingForeverToYou and I was actually responding to the comparisons between United and Hillsong Live...musically, I was stressing the point that differences must be expected and cannot be compared because of they are two totally different musical entities, if you will. That was my point...im not debating United History.

@MyFatherLoves I liked Hillsong LIVE better in the past, when they actually had variety in their albums. Since LIVE team is the expression of the church's worship as a whole, their projects should bring many styles of song, just like they used to be. Besides, as a musician, I like to hear people who actually can sing, something difficult to find in Hillsong nowadays. They have great songwriters but few great vocalists. Again, I repeat: this is Karen Walker's opinion!

I really miss how Hillsong lead the Worship in their previous albums (e.g. God Is In The House, For This Cause, Mighty To Save, By Your Side, Touching Heavens Changing Earth) where I can feel the presence of the Holy Ghost manifesting while listening/watching the worship service. I know its not all about the "music" but its all about your heart worshiping the LORD. But here in Philippines specially our church, we prefer the old Hillsong songs as tool for worship. God bless Hillsong Church.

Aw... This is the Hillsong I learned to love. Not a Coldplay-cover band or something, but an actual worship team headed by a blond lady with a breathtaking voice passionately leading people to the presence of God through worship, backed up by great musicians with an inspiring passionate love for God.

No offense to the UNITED guys, but I prefer Hillsong LIVE this way much more!

Besides, I am not questioning God's opinion towards them. As a matter of fact, every kind of worship is perfect for Him, as long as the worshipper is doing it in spirit and in truth.
