That is exactly what I am aiming ttowards. I can't stand working for people who automatically view me as having some handicap as a worker, and will only look at the negatives in anywhthing I do. But what is a viable small business to start off in now days, without risking a credit trap?

The older people don't understand what we're going through because back in their time, college guaranteed you a solid job in your field. So they look at you as if you're not trying hard enough to find work. The women have no empathy as we already know and look at you like you're still a bum because you're working non college educated jobs just to get by. As they say "it's real in the field."
Getting work, especially in the arts like my field heavily relies on the "who you know system" or Nepotism rather than skill and that's really where race comes into play. White people have access to networks that brothas typically don't, something that they take for granted I might add. So I'm working in a warehouse where more of my black co workers have degrees than the white ones do. That speaks volumes about the system. It's nice to see when somebody understands what you going through.

When I got my degree in Software Engineering 5 years ago, I was looking for work for 1 year before I landed this one.
The job search effort, it was like having a full time job. Online and posting to dozens of jobs all day, everyday. DEPRESSING, to say the least.
Even more depressing when my white colleges from school were scooped up before they even graduated.
Keep at it! I was living at home too. Just don't get stuck at the dead end job cause that will suck up all of your valuable time.
