Having been a zombie lots of times, the first thing I would have done is gotten some of the blood of the bride or a zombie and smell it, and feel it. If it's fake I would know right away it would definitley smell like fake blood or corn syrup. If they were clever and used animal blood or something I might have started to freak out a little, but then I would have peeled some liquid latex off a zombies face.
