The flames do not make you immortal, they just give you life that is why Alexstrazsa is the "life binder" even though she is the queen she is part of the red dragonflight. Bolvar just has alot of shadow resistance :o

At wrathgate Arthas took saurfangs soul into frostmourne, he left Bolvar who later died due to the forsakens' revenge. Bolvar body and soul was burned by the red dragon flight. Arthas later took his immolated body and went to Ulduar for something? Anyway, Bolvar was alive again and now he's kept a top ICC :)

Arthas never went to Ulduar, the scense u see when bolvar gets tortured is a vision when you encounter Yogg-saron. Bolvar was alive after the red dragonflight flames gave him life hence alexstraza "the life binder"

I don't think that anyone would want to kill Bolvar Fordragon. He was awesome and was actually pretty cool with the Horde. Hell, even Mr. Chin doesn't seem to hold that much animosity towards the Horde in general, just Garrosh.

Thats a nieve statement Shunk. Yeah Varian gave enough respect to Saurfang to claim his only sons body, but it doesn't change Varian from his hatred of the horde, there hasn't even been ANY indication that Varian the orc hater has suddenly turned to varian the peaceful hippy.

I think Varian's more about hating the savage Horde, but can get along (and is willing to excuse) the other, more pacifist members. Saurfang holds a very strict honor code, and Thrall seems to want to improve relations. While he doesn't necessarily like Thrall, it can't be denied that his main rival is Garrosh. He could probably work with Thrall if Garrosh didn't come along and screw it up every time.

Saurfang was killed by the Lich King, so he has his soul (as you can see).

Bolvar looked like he was going to die...then enter Red Dragonflight.

The unique thing about the red dragons is that their fire CAN NOT kill or destroy. But rather...renew and replenish.

Yea, sure, you may be burned a bit, and it WILL hurt, but it wont kill you...or destroy your body

Did you forget that Malygos, a dragon aspect, was KILLED by red drakes (not even dragons)? Sure, red dragon fire does have the power to heal things, but I wouldn't say it can't hurt you. Because it definitely can leave a mark.

No, Saurfang the Younger is the new champion of the Lich King. Both the alliance & the horde will fight him and both times he will die & his father claims his body. Bolvar is yet to succumb to the lich king and both factions race to see him not become another 25m boss but rather an ally... sort of.

Also their corpses were claimed while being doused by the dragon flames, it's just rounding up a story rather than digging it up and messing with the lore.
