  • I don't think he was either a Republican nor a Democrats. King wouldn't have fit in in either party.

  • I have seen Democrats become more racist than Republicans. So really would he be in the party of more racist retarded democrats? Also he was opposed to Johnson's Vietnam War.

  • Martin Luther King, Jr. wrote in his autobiography:

"The Republican Party geared its appeal and program to racism, reaction, and extremism."

That was his description of the 1964 Republican National Convention. He also referred to the Republican convention as "the frenzied wedding at the Cow Palace of the KKK with the radical right."

  • alveda is the brain rotted lying evil amoral root in mlk's family tree.

    tragic!

  • "I don’t profess to have much political knowledge. I would not go out and endorse either party. I see some short comings in both parties, and some good in both parties, but I would not endorse either party"----DR. KING (interview with Mike Wallace, 1958)

  • Of course MLK was NOT a republican...at least NEVER in the sense republicans are today. Republican talking points to the contrary are RIDICULOUS!

  • @SocialistLiberal -I completely agree with you thanks for commenting.

  • I can care less if King was or wasn't a republican. People who belong to a political party should do so, because the party fit's their ideological beliefs as an INDIVIDUAL. The smear that republicans are all racists is old. Think for a second. If republicans are racists, why would they claim King as their own? There is no logic there. The word "racist" has been bastardized and watered down to such a level, it has basically lost it's impact as a stigmatic word.

  • @xpandergt Your argument sounds naive especially when discussing politics. Dont you often accusse dems of claiming to care about things you feel they really dont care about? So what makes you think republicans are above that? Why do you talk as if it's impossible for people to claim things that really arent true especially for political gain? So if dems claim MLK as their own that would mean to you they are not racist and you quit painting them as such?

  • @xpandergt "The Republican Party geared its appeal and program to racism, reaction, and extremism. All people of good will viewed with alarm and concern the frenzied wedding at the Cow Palace of the KKK with the radical right. The best man at this ceremony was a senator whose voting record, philosophy, and program were anathema to all the hard-won achievements of the past decade." -MLK opinion verbatim of 1964 republican convention. Why would he be a republican when he said that about them?

  • @rashadkijani It's people like Harry Reid who said Obama doesn't have a "negro dialect". It was Joe Biden who said Obama "is articulate and clean". It was liberal David Ehrenstein from the LA Times who wrote the story "Barack the Magic Negro". It was Al Sharpton who said "Obama isn't authentic". It's people like Hillary Clinton who went into a black church in Thelma a few years ago and pandered to black in a southern draw voice. So what did you say about racism again?

  • @xpandergt I never said anything is a smoking gun. And are you the one kidding me? Your reasoning to dismiss that he was couldnt have been refering to blacks is a joke? Where do you come up with that type of stuff? When has a any one ever mentioned reparations in the context of all americans in this country? And if it means all americans then why are there so many people who are against reparations Since it would means all americans including rush?

  • @xpandergt Could you cite an other example when the reparations was used in the context you are claiming it means.? And you are also being hypocritical to suggest that some one actually has to mention a race before something could mean their are talking about race. Certainly you understand code language. You said hillary talked in a southern voice. Well switching voices doesnt mention race either you can be white and be sothern too.(CONT)

  • @xpandergt (CONT) But you are obviously implying that you think she was being racist. I would figure you know there are certain words and phrases in america . That may not necessarily have the words black or white in them but people know they are loaded words becuz of the racist background of this country. The letters KKK dont have the words black or white in it either do you think that it cant be racist becuz it doesnt mention a race? Where do you come up with the excuses to dismiss like you do

  • @rashadkijani Actually, I wasn't "imply" she was racist. You were "assuming" I beleive she's a racist by my comments of Hillary. She was "racially baiting" blacks in the thelma church. Here's the definition of race bating "Race baiting is the use of racially derisive language, actions or other forms of communication, to anger, intimidate or incite a person or groups of people, or to make those persons behave in ways that are inimical, and often harmful to their personal or group interests. "

  • @xpandergt Why are you defining race baiting to me for? If you know what it means then why do your comments suggest you dont know that Rush's use of the word "reparations" shows he could be guilty of that himselff? And if you are accusing someone of race baitng then even if you arent actually calling them a racist then you are at least "implying" they are or could be.So what is the point of criticizing the use of that word?

  • You're all just a bunch of political retards aren't you? You honestly think that more black citizens would vote for the republican parties because Martin Luther King would? Why not assume that the African American community is a little bit smarter than that and would make their own decisions based on what they believe instead?

  • MLK Sr was a Repug for a while. With R's hell thats close enough. Well done adios

  • the m.o. of the republican party is to use lies, hearsay and half truths. never give the benefit of the doubt to a nazi.

  • @vengencefrom1979 You just described the Democratic Agenda to a tee.

  • Very interesting video.

  • Really Great Video im glad people are starting to call out republicans racist lies about Martin Luther King.

  • Martin Luther King would never be republican today he would never be part of today's racist party of Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck.Today's republican party is a completely different party than the party of the 1950's when the party was more moderate.

Today's republican party is a Southern White Power Party that worships Rush Limbaugh more than God.

  • @KimmyTaylor100 -Thanks for commenting thats what i thought when i first heard these lies about Dr.King right wing conservatives will do anything to claim Dr.King when he would never be on the same side as Beck and Limbaugh.

  • I don't know why Hillbilly Republicans are trying to claim Martin Luther King when we all know he never belonged to republican party.Martin Luther King's were views liberal he was for social justice programs.

But Glenn Becks racist retarded Fans will keep telling their lies about Martin Luther King its really sad that some people are this low to lie about a dead man's life hopefully most will ignore Glenn Becks hate mongering lies.

  • @EbonyCherryable -Right Wing Cons keep trying to use this sellout Alveda King to spread their lies about Dr.King when NO BODY in the King Family even speaks to Alveda she's been cut out of the King Family for years for lying about Dr.King's legacy to make money.
