  • fake !! thats not her

  • use gas you novice.

  • o boy... how you can Digest so highly heated, processed death fat??? Raw Butter is healthy - unlike coocked. Everything treated with high tempature is putting so much stress on our Digestive System... it's takes a lot of our energy; our body has to make a lot of Enzymes to break down cooked, enzymeless food... The molecular structure of the cooked food is destroyed - and Nature-made perfect food becomes toxic to the body... It's before she even put in the plastic container... Toxic, wasted food

  • You are so right about pouring hot oil into plastic!! How on earth are people still doing this....??? This huge fight against cancer and people don't know how to minimize the risks. Hot liquids and plastics are not a good mix...

  • everyone is a know it all..she said let it cool and then pour it into a container

  • Good video, concise & easy.

I cringed when I saw you pour it into plastic, not a good idea! I know from experience, toxins from plastic can be absolute hell on the body, just don't do it! Use glass instead.

  • Could you use salted butter??

  • @ZiggyHungga

don't use salted butter the salt is not necessary.

  • Whats with everyone pouring the hot oil liquid into PLASTIC???? Not good. Oil leaches zeno estrogen's from plastic and this is a known contributor to cancer. Always use glass. Even the true vedic doctors will tell you that.

  • Finally people are catching on : ) I only use glass, stainless steel , wood and stoneware for everything in my kitchen accept dried foods.

  • @flamingbuddahgirl What the hell is a zeno estrogen? There's no estrogen in plastic.

Plastics in food packaging are made from polymers - PTFE, PVC, PS, etc.

And "leaching"? Leaching is not even possible here. There's no estrogen to begin with.

    What quackery and nonsense.

Your vedic doctors are charlatans that flunked chemistry.

  • @aldoreshgaramok it's actually spelled "xenoestrogen," yes, you do find them in the plastics used for food packaging, and yes they have the potential to be really, incredibly bad for you. Don't pour hot oils you intend to consume into plastic. It's not quackery, it's science... look up xenoextrogen on wikipedia.

  • Bad lighting, so-so focus, vague (very vague) directions. The most critical part of making ghee was ignored! The heat is important (thus the speed is also) and there is a very specific point at which the ghee is 'done'. Prior to that point it is just clarified butter, and heating it past that point will make it bitter. No mention of that at all. For those of you learning to do this yourself, this is not the video you want to follow. It's not HARD to make ghee, but it's not as hands-off as this.

  • You don't cook all the fat from butter to get ghee. You remove all the water and milk solids from the unsalted butter to get a wonderfully flavorful purified fat for cooking.

  • it's actually even easier than that. you don't need to remove the foam, you are not supposed to stir it. just remember to strain it when pouring it into the container

  • Thanks, exactly what I wanted!
