when i saw the scene first time.As a german i found that was the first controversial ( like controverse ?) scene in the movie.A wehrmacht soldier is not in every case a nazi.My grandfather was a Wehrmacht "Leutnant".He never was a nazi, he was a soldier before 1939, and he knew if he deserted he would been killed.

But anyway its just a movie,where everyone get´s slaped and it´s ok because under my nation this Nazi shit grew up.Don´t think to much shit of the germans
