World is overpopulated. Unplanned pregnancy is horrible and the "babies" didn't even feel it. Puppies on the other hand get tortured they don't even put them to sleep and cut their toes and tails off.
Abortion is only legal because government says so, and it is a type of homicide. Please do your research, it falls under an excusable homicide- a killing commanded or authorized by law... Abortion is accepted because only then is an unborn child considered not to be human. If abortion was so correct, there would not be so many grey areas and arguments.

However, such a premature baby needs to spend an enormous amount of time in the NICU. This is not natural. She wasn't normal and healthy or normal when she was born. My friend thought she was pregnant and wanted to have an abortion if she was. I was against her decision of abortion saying that there are other options. Of course I understood that she didn't want to disappoint her family. I told her I'll support her either way and I'll even go with her to be by her side. I agree that (often) abortion is murder, but I DON'T agree you should say such horrible things about women you don't even know! Try seeing from their point of view; it's often traumatic, and many women who get an abortion feel pressured to by their circumstances or people they know. The government should inform these women and help them as much as needed, instead of giving women a "simple" option that helps the abortion industry. Such cruel comments only make matters worse.

A fetus (roughly until the sixth month of pregnancy). It can swallow and digest milk, food and water.

Its heart beats regularly without external aid. It is a living creature who couldn't cope with the world but who is fully capable of spending hours alone (though it is not advisable to do so) without dying due to heart failure (assuming the baby is healthy).

For a woman who has been raped, she should seek help right away at a hospital and she won't get pregnant. If she doesn't seek help and gets pregnant, then she has the option of having the baby adopted.

Abortion is only legal because government says so, and it is a type of homicide. Please do your research, it falls under an excusable homicide- a killing commanded or authorized by law... Abortion is accepted because only then is an unborn child considered not to be human. However, when dealing with feticide- those laws clearly acknowledge the unborn as a human being- in fact, actually a minor. If abortion was so correct, there would not be so many grey areas and arguments.

However, such a premature baby needs to spend an enormous amount of time in the NICU. This is not natural. She wasn't normal and healthy or normal when she was born. My friend thought she was pregnant and wanted to have an abortion if she was. I was against her decision of abortion saying that there are other options. Of course I understood that she didn't want to disappoint her family. I told her I'll support her either way and I'll even go with her to be by her side. Try seeing from their point of view; it's often traumatic, and many women who get an abortion feel pressured to by their circumstances or people they know. Life begins at conception and ending that life is murder. What is worse, it is a murder of the worse kind, of a helpless, defenseless human being. What right to women have to commit murder? I am a woman and would never consider murder for my own selfish reasons. If you don't want children, use birth control!!!!

@Miss65boo Birth control is a mortal sin. So using birth control to prevent pregnancy, is pretty much EQUAL to having an abortion, particularly an early abortion, which would interrupt the growth of an embryo in its cellular phase.

@mylittIekittens You are right and it is what I also believe, that life begins at conception and most forms of birth control, such as the pill, are a form of early abortion. I should have said to use a condom or barrier method such as a diaphram, which prevents conception, instead. So many women use abortion as a means of birth control it makes me feel sick. Why can't they avoid pregnancy in the first place?

If a woman is raped she should seek help right away (for her own sake) and in the process they do a D&C, which would prevent any pregnancy. There is no justification for murdering a child in my point of view, which is all abortion is, murdering a child.

@MadameChristie For a woman to have an abortion for any reason is murdering the child. I was also the victim of rape and know how a woman feels to be so violated. Fortunately for me I did not get pregnant but if I had I wouldn't have murdered the baby for the crime of the father. Also, if a woman seeks help immediately she can be given a D & C at the hospital and that would wash the perp's sperm out of her, before conception can happen.

@Miss65boo Sure those are all options, but I still wouldn't deny a woman abortion. I probably wouldn't be able to do it ( orn ahve the desire to) if I were in some ikkind of pregnancy situation, but I won't force beliefs on women who may not share my thoughts on that matter. It's her body, and her fetus, and as much as I might want to tell her no, I can't impose my beliefs on her. That's all I believe. I'm pro-choice, but I'm also mostly nti-abortion, only as an absolute last resort.

My point is we should spend less time driving beliefs and point of view down other peple's throats and more time helping these women deal with their pregnancies, and supporting them, whatever they decide. We can encourage them not to abort, but we can't force them. The last thing they need is to have anfry people screaming in theri faces after doing soemthing so horrible, both for their fetuses, and for them.

@RightWingAndProud That;s somethign I think many people forget, that the women also go through absolute hell during an abortion. Wether I agree with the action or not, it would just be cruel to berate them for it beasue its not what I believe, and it' won't help the cause in then future. Instead, use your time and money promoting adoption or support for single parents or young parents. It'd be much more useful than getting angry at confused teenage girls...

Whether she chooses to keep the baby or not is her choice and she's already in a bad ienough situation, she doesn't need anymore people screaming in her face telling her what to do. If she was a friend, I would support her either way. I just hate that pro-choicers seem to be depicted as hearttless feminazis so much.

Every life is precious and who am I to deny life to another person? Think also on the psychological impact abortion has on the mother? Some women have terrible nightmares and regrets later after having an abortion.

@MadameChristie Rape is a terrible crime and my heart goes out to any woman who has been victimized, but to kill an innocent child for the crimes of the father is wrong, I cannot condone it. The woman can give the child up for adoption if she wishes to. Better yet, seek help right away and avoid getting pregnant in the first place (a D&C is done on rape victims at the hospital, which prevents pregnancy).

@TheArdentApologist A living thing is something that can live of its own accord thanks to its own biological functions. A baby can live without its mum pumping oxygenated blood into its body, can it? A fetus (roughly until the sixth month of pregnancy). It can swallow and digest milk, food and water.

@cosbyfish As I said before, a 6 month old baby can live on its own accord. It is not indipendent, obviously, but it can live through the night without someone else performing the necessary physiological functions for (and instead of) it.
Its heart beats regularly without external aid. It is a living creature who couldn't cope with the world but who is fully capable of spending hours alone (though it is not advisable to do so) without dying due to heart failure (assuming the baby is healthy).

A baby becomes a baby when it is fully developed, around the sixth month. Prior to that, it is just a bunch of cells.

A fetus reaches full maturity by the 30th week ca. Up until that point, it is not a fully developed living creature. Babies who are born the seventh month often suffer from serious consequences. Those who manage to survive, that is.

@das5jbb Birth control is not 100%, so if a woman really doesn't want to get pregnant then she should not have sex, simple as that. For a woman who has been raped, she should seek help right away at a hospital and she won't get pregnant. If she doesn't seek help and gets pregnant, then she has the option of having the baby adopted.
By the way, what percentage of women who get abortions were pregnant as a result of rape? Very few I imagine.

It's sad how in today's society we don't recognize unborn babies as people, In 1929 in Canada women weren't considered people either and today they are allowed to serve in the Senate. I only hope that within the next 20 or so years we begin to acknowledge unborn babies as people with equal rights too.

Finally one brave soul who also uses his head, and who's got something called critical thinking. Who will not do just about anything for money. The only case where abortion is not considered a crime and is mandatory, is if the mother's life is in danger. NO other case, No other exception whatsoever.
