I need some clarity here...it sounded like he said lavaska coffee...but did he mean Lavassa?...if it's lavassa then me and David have something in common. Me being a genius, culture changing, rock god. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it, seriously. Thanks.
It's ironic he talks about good health, and he doesn't know whats down the road................he should have stopped smoking in the late seventies, it's unhealthy and ages the skin quicker.
Herman, thank you for that intimate interview. He seem so fragile in this or is just a trick of light(?). Precious 5:45' of my life very well invested.
Please improve your english little bit, is not very pleasant to lissten. Ciao!
I wish Bowie had said something slightly more interesting about packaging versus content. It seems to me that the music video and music publishers have intentionally reduced music to all packaging and no content, for maximum control over the market.
Art should not be motivated by money. Certainly the music industry has eaten itself.
The concept of quiet, meditative interview was brilliant. you both looked like a confessor and the confessing.interviews with his very often tend to be too hilarious, which is great and I laugh my pants off=) but if you only imagine how many amuzingly wise philosophicly deep thoughts could be said by him and were not said in the midst of that laghter....=)
I laughed quite a lot at the end, and then realized...
I am a truly awful person.

The visual aspect of this interview is quite impressive and interesting.
Also David seems very at ease, it's almost as if the interviewer could ask him anything and he would respond openly with that witty charm of his.
Thanks for posting! :)

I love the way Bowie is proud of his working class origins. Let's hear it for working class artists/intellectuals! (I count myself as one.)

Too bad he didn't worry more about his smoking. I guess that was the main reason for his heart attack at the end of the Reality-tour.

This interview is made as a concept after a photo of Warhol and Philip Johnson in his glass house .
