It amazes me that the negative comments seem to focus on "this device is a POS", OR "it can be done faster by hand", OR "I wasted a viewers time and bored him or her". I taped this for OUR (friends & Family) amusement. I subsequently discovered Youtube and thought why not post it, which I obviously did. I have used the Eggstractor that ONE time. I have an unused Eggstractor in the box (it was two for one when I ordered years ago). I may try and sell it on Ebay, or not. This was a JOKE!
you could just peel the egg in less time than it takes to use that machine... i mean honestly... why have a machine for something thats already super easy to do.
I noticed some egg floating in the water when they were cooking. Did you boil the water before you put the eggs in? It is a common mistake. It usually cracks the egg shells either from the shock of the heat or hitting the bottom of the pan. You should put cool water and the eggs in the pot, bring to a full boil, cover, remove from the heat and let sit 15 mins. Perfect HB eggs every time.

You can desolve the lime shell with acid. What stays is a leathery skin. ;)

yeh if you let a raw egg sit in vinager for a few weeks it dissovles the shell leaving the skin and they make gr8 water ballons =)

I thought you were supposed to poke one side and tap the other.

I gotta get me one of those. Even with the misfires, it's still a LOT faster than peeling the old fashioned way.
