These days it probably is, yes. It used to belong to the Ecton Estate and had an avenue of trees down it as a carriageway.

I'm Ecton born and bred. :)

The trees do have a grand appearance, somehow.

I was very lucky to be passing by and at first thought the balloon had just taken off. There was a post of the fence for the camera and the balloon just landed in a gap. It was lucky for me and I think for everyone concerned.

They put it down right in the middle of what used to be the cricket pitch, before they moved it more into the village.

Thanks. The place is Ecton Lodge Farm, isn't it? I don't think the owners minded having the balloon land. It will have left a good memory.
