You can try it. I'm the king of fish that shouldn't be together and mine are doing fine.

is it peaceful and tropical? basically can it miz with dicsus stingray and other obvious community fish.

For starters, neither stingrays or discus are "community fish". Neons go great with discus and I usually see fairly large aggressive fish with rays. A flagtail should be fine with rays but maybe a bit hyper for discus.

the fish store where i first saw a flagtail had a HUGE flag tail with a ray and the ray got ticked at him one day over food and attacked and killed the flagtail. and it was FULL grown and like 8 years old. i was so sad.

I saw one once at a private seller. She was selling it for like 60 dollars.... she said it was on sale. O.o

hey nice flag tail fish you got there. They are pretty cool looking fish for omnivore type of fish. I will probably get one
