Ex-meat workers have cited the animals screams as they are butchered alive as the reason they quit their jobs and many still have nightmares years later. I don't know much about cows but i bet they suffer.

@uqiimu Sheep are pretty easy to handle. If you pull the head back to the side and hold it against the shoulder area it does not hurt the sheep but partially disables them or at least gives you good control.

Hey ...to all the guys that leave stupid comments....If u can't or you don't want to watch it then don't watch it...how cool is when you eat that meat from the supermarkets, you need to understand that by killing animals it's a good source of food and vitamins for humans...so this is the life...if you want to live good you have to eat. They do have them locked in their car if by chance they do need them but that is rarely the case. The fact that the video is of a subject matter that is not particularly funny highlight just how skilled he is that he managed to be funny. @shuffle5555 why not just shoot it? That is a very good question, you know for a person that only sees the finished product on their grocery shelf. The reason why they slit the throat instead of shooting is to drain the blood out of the meat and prevent bruising of the meat. In either fish, poultry or whatever livestock, the animal ideally has to be bled while alive, so they can remove the most amount of blood.
