Alaska and silent circus were amazing dont get me wrong but colors just blew my mind into oblivion. and same with the great misdirect and im sure i wont be let down by the new ep either. Dream theater is a whole different ball park tho. They are a Progressive band so of course they are not going to keep their same sound.

... and in no way am I saying their S/T, Silent Circus and Alaska are terrible albums, because Aspirations, Fire for a Dry Mouth, Naked by the Computer, Shevanel Cut A Flip, Camilla Rhodes, Mordecai, Ad A Dglgmut, All Bodies, Selkies, Roboturner, Backwards Marathon and Autodidact are all favorites of mine, but compared to Colors, The Great Misdirect and Hypersleep Dialogues, I feel BtBaM HAVE found their very own sound, and I love it.

@impaledonion Dream Theater? Dream Theater sounds nothing like what was on Colors, The Great Misdirect or even their latest EP. If anything, BtBaM have given themselves their own sound since Colors (with shades of making one in Alaska). Their first three albums, I could name off quite a few bands in my music collection that sound very similar to them. Colors, yeah, maybe some with a SMALL hint of DT influence, but this comparison that BtBam has been getting to Dream Theater is just idiotic.
