If I were you I would order an integrated tail light. It's LED so WAY brighter and has your signal lights built in. I ordered one for my F2 and it looks awesome. Very simple to install, just one plug and a couple wires to solder together and that's it. Msg me if you want a vid of mine.
Any updates? last you wrote on my page you were inspired to start the f2 project. I have not seen any activity from you in a while. Are you sticking with it?
@sorryunlucky not too worried the bike stays covered up and i wont be riding in the rain on it. i have a car for the rain!! fair weather biker thats me!!!
@salesclerk yer i took it for a test ride had to spin the can round. other trouble was centre stand kept hitting it to i took the centre stand off for now and ill alter the stand to go around the pipe
While it was stripped down I would of advised a coat of anti-rust spray. It looks horrible after a few rainy days. And in the UK we seem to have a lot of rain and cold days.
The electrics are a nightmare. I've recently half stripped down a moped from 2001, it has rust on the exhaust so it needs a new one. I paid £150 for it! Mint condition but the owner had lost the keys so I put new barrels in, and found a few problems along the way. The Exhaust has rust which will cause a problem if a new one isn't fitted. Anyway it fires up first kick on a cold engine and has low mileage. The previous owner said it had been sitting for eight years due to losing the keys.
wow, coming along pretty quickly. Just one note though, learn from my mistake, that pipe is going to get cracked by the swing arm. When you go over a bump that swing arm is going to go down further than where it is now, and crack the carbon fiber. I have one of these bikes and had the same style pipe. Can't wait to see the end results, the paint looks great.
