He has a great voice and his first solo album "Stranger in This Town" is one of my very favourite pieces of music. As a big Bon Jovi fan I see him as a vital part of the band, a great musician and his voice is even more powerful than Jon's. But Jon's voice makes out the perfect Bon Jovi sound and it's a bit softer too and therefore I prefer JBJ singing "These Days" which is one of my fav songs! Sambora is great however!

@GustavoMdeOliveira Slash definitely rocks. He's amazing. But don't tell me he's versatile. He plays the same lick in every song. He's a great guitarist, respect. One of my favourites. But Richie has done so many things. Better and more variety of tones, variety of solos, talk box, wah, whammy tricks, slide, acoustic, blues, you name it, he's done it, and he's amazing at all. Slash is great, but that's limited to his zone. And he's definitely one of the best of what he does of all time.

I think that to be a lead singer you need more than a good voice. You also need a frontman type of character. Jon has it. But Richie feels better as the guitar player, not as a leader. Even though his vocal performance is great he lacks the traits of character that would make him feel comfortable as the one in the spotlight.

Then maybe u will realise that Richie is at least 2 times more talented than jon and has a voice at least 10 times better than jon.
