  • His son plays reciever at my high school.

  • best RB in seahawks history. if not for the knee troubles, he would be a surefire top 10 all-time RB.

  • Man, he was the text book definition of an elusive runner.

  • When he was drafted you knew great things were in store.....

  • i live like 50 feet from curts old house, Him and my dad were best friends when they were growing up in pineville. They still communicate daily, and continue to be good friends. My family and I love curt. My father ended up not making it to the nfl. However he did play in nfl europe. Thanks for this video, my father loved it.

  • Curt was THE cuttin'est back that any of us had ever seen until that force of nature called Barry Sanders came along.

Curt's moves were amazing even post duel knee surgeries.

  • cuttin curt warner!!! nakes the blue and white proud!!! thanks for 82!!! outshining the great herschel

  • in that week of cancellation, the browns wouldve played the broncos. that game cost the browns the home field advantage in the afc championship. that game where earnest byner fumbled on the two yard line.

  • he seemed really good!!!!!!

  • If only I was old enough to watch the Seahawks during the Knox era...so many great players...

  • The Knox years were the best. I was glued to the TV back then for those games. First time he touched the ball as a Hawk he goes for something like 66.

  • Thanks for the reply.

  • well yea i know the scabs played three games. those games actually counted in the standings but altogether every pro team played 15 games. thats the point im trying to make.

  • You made a mistake, they played one game less than a regular schedule of an ordinary season. There were actually fifteen games played by each team in 1987.

  • No mistake made...You forgot about the "Scabs", replacement players who played for a portion of the season. Curt didn't play 15 games, trust me.

  • wait, wasent that the year of the strike? i remember that, all teams lost 1 game, ecxept san diego who had a bye that week

  • only the strike kept curt warner from a 1,000yard season? He gained 985 yards rushing he couldve easily reached that mark, these people make it sound like it's so hard.

  • Remmber, they only played 12 games that year, (1987). Unless your name is Jim Brown, 1,000 yards in 12 Pro Football games, post knee injury, is significant production. Respect was due.

  • @psufan001 it is hard i wana see you go out there and do this bro

  • He was like Gale Sayers.

  • I think of all the seahawks players in history that are not in the hall of fame the seahawk player that should be in the hall of fame is Curt Warner I don't know how he is not in the hall of fame I think the voters don't like to put players in the hall of fame that have played for Expansion teams I think thats stupid because Expansion teams had no stars on the team the voters shouldn't judge him about his team he played for and they should judge him on what he did on the football field

  • Dude, ADD SOME FUCKING CCOMMAS AND PERIODS!

  • curt warner, another great West Virginian athlete. if only he didnt get hurt

  • Power, speed, and cutback ability; had he stayed healthy he would be in Canton. He was THAT good.

  • Curt was a great back. He was tough, unlike many Seahawk backs,,,, (Alexander).

  • yes...wrsawy,

    go fuck yourself

  • Curt Warner, oh hell yeah! People always talk about Terrell Davis being a great cutback runner, but Curt was the original. And, oh boy, that stutter step!

  • Don't forget about Alexander. He had a great cutback too.

  • Cuttin' Curt Warner. One of the best cutback runners ever. Barry Sanders before Barry?

  • this guy is my football coach at camas high school in camas washington.. haha he's awsome

  • I loved Curt Warner, he was one of my favorites back in the day. Yes, his knee injury slowed him a bit. One annoying thing about him was he almost always tried to cut back. Sure he would get positive yards each time, but he would leave John L trying to block for him and could have gotten even more yards. Wasn't one of the most patient runners, but very smooth & very good player.

  • curt warner was like gale sayers. In college one year he was averaging 190 yards a game. He tore up his knee and in my opinion was not quite what he was before again. And he was still one of the best runners ever. Had he not got hurt in college he would have been better than any runner in the history of Football

  • Curt was one hell of a running back, still holds the all time rushing record at PSU. Just think how much more damage he would have done in the NFL if he hadn't gotten that knee injury. He's a classy guy.

  • Uno de los mejores jugadores que hayan jugado en los Hawks, un tremendo RunningBack.
