My Jack Russell died on the 7th Dec 2011 from this virus and I bought him home and buried him in the garden, it had to be a deep hole and it took me a day to dig it, but I wanted him near me. If only his former owner had told me that he had not been vaccinated....if only, then I would not have shed a river of tears and Murphy would still be with me.
Oh she was such a pretty girl. I'm sorry. My dog got parvo when he was three months and he vomited blood and had bloody diarrhea like that too. Fortunately they treated him and he lived, but so many dogs die from parvo each year. Vaccinating is so important for young puppies. And solely because of the high mortality of the disease.
Im so sorry for ur lost...I have alil puppy and if something happened to her I would be so crushed...She is like my lil baby..but it was very important thing for u to let this info out!
