  • almost everyone whose a beginner in parkour use their elbow n not their muscles cuz its nearly impossible to do it perfectly in the first try, eventually you'll stop using ur elbows n build the muscles needed for this move.

I was saying these armchair warriors should fucking tell 3 RUN somethings wrong. When these pricks probably can't do a cartwheel. These guys have been doing this longer than you've been alive.   • The exercise is quite self explanatory, but I think in most cases, some guidance helps.

  • i have a hard time doing this because i never knew i had to put full upper body muscle into it that and the damn hand placement!

  • The actual muscle up is all about muscles. Look up muscle up mango in youtube (yeah it's a crazy guy but he explains it well) that's how an actual muscle up is done. This is more a parkour muscle up which requires more momentum than muscle, but muscle is still required to perform it fast.

  • It's all of them... You need muscle to climb up higher things etc.. You need a lot of ab muscles (in your belly), to pull yourself up..

  • Your feet should hit the wall first and take the impact, in my opinion anyway.

  • if your hands get hurt your skin will rip and repair stronger you get more calisis as well

  • i thought it was called a climbup when its against a wall and a muscleup when your hanging.....or maybe im just getting way too technical.

  • your still developing at 13, your resetting your brain and what not, body builders train later on training earlier is somewhat bad for you

  • gaining strength and flexibility at a young age has got to be one of the best things for you. just body building is bad, but we're not talking about bodybuilding(Getting big muscles). we're talking about well rounded strength, that will help prevent injury, give more endurance, and generally have a better quality of life and more capability in later years.

  • to be honest that's pretty damn easy.. a muscle up on a pullup bar/on ringz is 20 times as hard compared to climbing up a wall. it really is more of a climb up than a muscle up..

  • you're 13, there is no way that you will accidentally get so big that it is bad for you. Remember body builders have to train for years to get to the size that they're at, it is not an easy task to get too big.

    Getting stronger is never bad for you either.

  • You wont be needing stregth in that, you will be needing it to do it faster, bot no strength in doing it, just pure PARKOUR SKILL !!!

  • its all about momentum and strength. u need the strength to push urself but momentum helps the follow through. I only did something like this once on an obstacle course. so it is hard

  • That's not a muscle up. A muscle up is when you're using just your arms to get up. Much more diffcult than that you ar showing in the vid. Which is called passe muraille, wall kick or climb up.

  • yes, it's usually done on rings when legs aren't used though.

  • the legs are mostly there to help get your hands in the right position. you could do it with very minimal leg movement. but it would be very hard without any legs.

  • no becasue he is not runing before the muscle up, he is showing how to use ur muslces and uper body whit a litter help of ur legs but just whit the instatian explotion and the corret way of ur hands

  • the example he used his feet to grip the wall and run up a bit, it's 10x harder when you have to get up with ONLY your arms, no feet.

  • That's what I'm trying to find a tutorial of. I suppose it is just conditioning over technique. I just wish I could find a tutorial on how to do a muscle up from a dead hang that isn't a bar.

  • u suppose the technique for that is just to use ur stregth in your arms to pull yourself up so that u can get ur foot over. there really isnt a specific way to perform any move in parkour, cos its about adapting to the different obstacle. u dont have to perform a specific move to get over somethin. why not try rolling or jumping or even just running over the top of a bench instead of kong vaulting it?

  • just get out there and try it dude, dont bother looking for a tutorial. the way i see it, humans were built for this sorta stuff. just let your instincts help. just concentrate on getting over the wall, then try and get faster and faster, using more and more strength and speed each time. good luck dude, not that you'll need it :)

  • i dont think thats an easy feat. try rotating your body facing away from the ledge and pulling your body up backwards. like a hanging backflip.

  • I don't think this is a great tutorial. It should have showed more examples. Also show the examples with the talking going over the top.
