I've thought about suicide numerous times since I was 14 up to very recently. I came to a very simple yet very complex realization that has neutralized these kind of thoughts: we live to consume life while it lasts. Why suicide when you'll eventually die anyway? Why play a game if it ends?

A friends of mine has tried suicide many times, slashes herself and now she's started to talk about trying suicide tomorrow. This time it sounds like she's determined to succeed. I try to tell her she has friends (and she really has), how they, her family and me would miss her if she did commit suicide and she doesn't have a good reason to do it... but she won't listen to me. She's struggling to get medical attention since our town is kinda small.
