@wildbluefaerie: I see where you're coming from, as far as a movie: JC can be way more animated, we don't know if BR can be, but they might be great as goofy buddy/sidekicks, BR playing the slightly straighter foil--both have a gift for facial expressions that would go great together, of course JC has shown he can go to the extreme, though BR ain't bad. Both know how to deliver comic timing. As far as a comedy tour, i would hate for any comparisons to come about, both deserve great respect...

When it came to the great use of facial expressions, JC was the only other one that came to mind. Love Brian Regan though as he is, he's my favorite stand-up.....Brian has already conceded though, on his website, that he's doing what he really loves to do and isn't concerned at all about getting a TV show or movie.

@screaminone this could just be me, but I guess the main reason that I don't think they'd complement each other very well is that I love BR's style of humor, I think it's hilarious, and I've never been a fan at all of JC's, I just don't find most of it very funny. Maybe for those who appreciate both styles of humor, yes it would work, but not for me.

@wildbluefaerie: you may be right there; at their extreme, JC is a cartoon, while BR is still a pure stand-up comedian. I love his clean, observational act too, he's a natural. It's all in what you're looking for as an individual i guess. IMO, he's got a bit of a natural smart-alek feature about his face that lends well to his material.
