  • It seems like a lot of the goth scene now is more ebm/hellectro sounding, which is all right, it just gets old and sounds all the same. I wish they would revive more of the goth rock, like the old days.

  • The 80's were the best, too bad I was just a baby in the 80's, but luckily by the time I was 12 I found out who christian death and these guys were, though it was already getting close to 1999. It sucks I had to miss out on the whole scene back then.

  • I have an eye for the main chance on vinyl: it's one of my most prized possessions. I also had the good fortune to see them live. Good times.

  • so cool!!! xD

  • *whoooooo* geile alte zeiten ;)) ,bekomm ich gute laune ... danke für s posten ! *flashback* sooOOO schÖÖÖn , ewig net gehört * so so XniceX

Happy days, or miserable days should I say

  • Beautifully haunting

  • @UndeadRivethead I'll be listening to this when I am 85 which is 50 years from now. How to explain to my grandchildren? I can only imagine what they will be listening to.....if the world hasn't killed each other off by then....

  • this is gay but does sound perfect for non conformist goths.

  • @hippiepsycopathz this is coming from someone who has modest mouse as their only favorite?

  • My girlfriend saw this band in they're day!!!! She's so chuffed to have found them on here!!!!!!!!!!

  • its a shame that people would rather listen to songs about ass wiggling than something with real substance.... luckily there are still a few of us trads around

and theres no superiority complex amoungst gothic rock bands, some of the nicest folk in the world, have you ever seen final ascention vids from every new dead ghost? early 90's in notts

    >:(.good news for cappys and cancers u can make it in next 12-15 yrs.ok this aint the subject here, but i wanted to help.

  • i was born 1987,ah..the ..80s..fatal puto in scorpio(scorpios and tauruses were on top )and depressive neptune in cappy are "to blame" for birth ofgoth music.when in 95. plut entered happy sagg and neptune liberale aquarious pop became popular, music lost its quality and left space for quantity.saggs(ville valo, brad pitt) and geminnis(a.jolie.,)j.deep became famousa lil astrology from me.

anyway,i wanted to say that heaven wount bring back the "darkside",well not in our lifetime.ok,im sad now.

im not completely sure, what it is about.

u wanted to ask me about my life in the scene,or...?

    sorry ,im kinda confused

  • born march 5 1973. had this album in 92 which I picked up at a record convention in LA. been a goth since 89.

  • IS NOT 1991

    IS 1989

  • This song was released in 1991, it wasn't released in the eighties. The demo possibly came out in 88, but this isn't demo. In fact, Rosetta Stones first legit lp wasn't released until 1991.

  • Deviancy is totally right!!

  • good!!! \m/ Yeah!!!

  • fantastic a real blast from the past

  • '86.... love this stuff.

SOmething about the 80's-style snare with funky deep male vocals and echo-strum G-tar.

    >:D

  • I was born Sept 2nd 1972, been a Goth since the mid 80's. I love this song, thanks for uploading it :)

  • its really inspiring that you "90's" kids like this kind of music. I kinda thought it was dead

  • good music will never die

  • @Afrocalyptica I would say GOTH music will never die! Because it´s UNDEAD! :D

  • it will always live as long the underground exists

  • @cptnarse are you kidding with me? I LOVE THIS type of music! So dark and romantic! this reminds me of some Sisters of Mercy song! :D

  • @cptnarse this music will never diiiieeeeeee!!! lol!!!

  • Ah...the love of '80s goth rock ^_^. Why did I have to be born into the generation of emo's, preppies, and trendies? Damn my '92 birth >_<...

  • same here!

the 80's were the best years in music history!

  • God I love this man's voice. I wish I was an 80s teen. . . just had to be born in the 90s where everything was crap. . . *sighs* Thanks for posting this song though. It rocks!

  • i was born in the shit 90s too :(((

  • I think it's kinda funny that everyone I talk to who likes 80s music never really lived in the 80s. . .

  • March 10th, 1983, here. ^_^

I remember buying Adrenaline when it first came out. And that makes me feel horribly old, now...

  • I was born July 20th 1990. I could sing guns and roses before I could sing the Barney songs. I was raised on this kinda of music. Don't feel old. Growing up in the 80s makes you cool, not old.

  • i WAS BORNE IN THE 60S AND LOVED THIS MUSIC AS i DID LOVE T REX, NEIL YOUNG, VAN HALEN , KLAATU, AND YES 80S WERE TERRIFIC!!!

  • @Afrocalyptica @vomitdiscostar Two blokes who know good music when they hear it. So rare amongst your generation. Good on ya. Enjoy. May I suggest IKON and LOVE LIKE BLOOD and DIARY OF DREAMS for your further exploration.....

  • I was born late 80s... late as in, last 6 months...

It would have been great to be born in the late 70s so I could have grown up with this kinda music.

  • my fave rosetta stone song :)
