  • Why this video did not stated there a Nintendo brand cartridge cleaner ?, coz I got one back then & you don't have to blow your saliva on the cartridge connector board. LOL

  • I still got my NES with original packing till today. Mine was came with TMNT game. It's been 20 years now yet still working like it always.

  • lol at 2:06 that not even contra=D

  • Yeah okay, maybe i should do this next time if i get a NES!

  • Whoops, my bad! This is too violent!

  • My NES still works great. I just used the red, white and yellow cables and replaced the pin connector inside.

  • and that's why SEGA genesis is recomendded

  • hahaha. "simply"

  • i almost got electricuted by my nes. i could feel it in my brain. :( but at least i have fun games, even if i do get electricuted. :D i dont have that nes anymore anyways i have another one. >:D

  • 68 people were not playing with power

  • Funny

  • I don't know what game console is more hardcore. NES or Xbox 360. People had to pray for their NES to work yet people are willing to buy an Xbox 360 every two years just to play their games.

  • 67 NES Consoles disliked this

  • Most of kids don't know the grayskull castle.

Los chicos de hoy no conocen el Castillo Grayskull.

  • This shit isn't funny

  • @Scout322 its funny cos its true. if you didnt find this funny then you werent there, you cant understand.

  • you forgot the contra code dumb-ass

  • Almost the exact same video as Disney's "Goofy - How To Hook Up Your Home Theater" from four or five years ago.

Still a well-made video, but you know, some listing of the "inspiration" might be nice ;)

  • @phreakindee It's no secret. I've openly said that the old Goofy shorts were my inspiration for this. I admittedly did not see the Home Theater short until AFTER I made this. Trust me, I felt a little down about it because it's very similar, and of course expertly animated. Thanks though!

  • @shamoozal Hehe, that's even more awesome then if you didn't see that until after!

  • @phreakindee i don't trust goofy setting up my home theater. im afraid he'll GOOF it up

  • lame.

  • Grey looks like Scott Pilgrim :)

  • That was...AWESOME!

  • lol I acctualy put a gamepak on top of the one I was playing to keep it in place too, didnt work.

  • a five year old could hook up a nintendo trust me, I did at my cousins house when I was like 5 just 2/3 cables

  • @PortalJumper98 dude its hard admit it xd but now with the av adapters its easy as getting a cake unless you are testing an aperture science hand-held portal device then that would be difficult

  • You can hook it up with rca cables as well. If you have a stereo as your sound source, it will only play through one speaker however. I got a splitter rca and play it in mono surround. It's pretty epic.

  • I hate hooking up that thing...

  • Most memorable? But this isn't a Sega Megadrive D=

  • @AutumnCrusader lol europeanfag.

  • @barrybob32 Yup, is there a problem here?

  • @wafflesan1 Sure pal. Whatever you say.

  • @wafflesan1 ur retarded.

  • @wafflesan1 It's not yours dumbass (DUH)

  • @wafflesan1 Either shamoozal has stolen a bunch of videos from people with similar art styles or you are pathetically trying to take credit away for his work.

Guess which I think is more likely.

  • all jacquo wanted was to play contra. but he knew he got more than he bargained for when he bought a broken nes.

  • Jacquo has green slime as spit. No girl would ever kiss him

  • Every Gamer should watch this video. Nintendo fan boys might take it a little too personal..

  • @TheGreenMonkeyKing you got that right!

  • Respond to this video... daaamn

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!!

  • I remember being about 6 or 7 and getting my first really good zap off that dam pwr adapter

  • this is awesome.

  • I have a question. I just got a nes console and I can get the sound to work. But no video. What do I need to do? Do I need and old tv? Or an adapter of some sort? Please please please help.

  • NEWGROUNDS IS NOT

  • at the end it looks like the ac adapter and the controller share the same wire.

  • Awesome!

  • Well... I found my NES in a pawn shop, which there it worked pretty good. Trying to hook it up here... I feel what this rabbit is living.

    The good old days...

Wanted try "Golden Game: 260 in 1" but can't even do it... Hope this rabbit will give me the help that I need, I wanna play with power too.

  • And that is why we moved a couch ant my Aunt's house- to hold in the power adapter.

  • Thank you for a trip down 1986 lane. I had to buy a power strip to stop the power cable from falling out of the outlet. I only escaped having to use the 75 adapter by getting an expensive VHS player on the same Christmas morning, though I watched my friend's dad not have that luxury the next day.

But I still remember finishing Mortal Kombat for the first time, and beating Super Mario without losing a single life.

I destroy a POS2 controller every year, but my NES controllers sill work fine.

  • Awesome

  • /watch?v=RbNuNYqCU5U

  • NOW YOU'RE PLAYING WITH POOOOOOWWWWEEEEEEEERRR!

  • Thats awesome

  • ah... memories...

"NOW YOUR PLAYING WITH POWEEEEEERRR!" yup...

I remember struggling with the NES trying to play SMB3, only to have a screen which, for some reason, flashed, like, green, yellow and red continusously.

then I got, like, half way through the game, then it get's all glitchy and crashes.

    ...good times...

  • 2 controllers and a game? man, todays consoles, only one controller and no game is 200 dollars.

  • Windex and Ear Swabs are all you need to make NES games run like new, dab the end of the swab into a bit of windex and grently clean off the 72 copper pins. a LOT of black buildup will probably show on the end of the swab. once you get all the black off, use ones last dry ear swab to dry the connectors.. it works GREAT!

  • clicking the game down is what causes it to not work.....

  • @joeyr1331 Thank you for spending your Friday night trolling my video.

  • @shamoozal well i think the video was very good. and funny as well. but blowing into the cartridges is a no no

  • Yeah this is what happens when you take poor care of a 25 year old system.

  • @ossy102 Me too.

  • Comment removed

  • Actually the blowing trick doesn't work.

  • lol funnist thing iv seen al day

  • This thing is highly innaccurate, I had to stick a plank of wood and sacrifice a goat to get my NES to work.

  • @Gamepopper101 hey i know a video that shows GREAT ways to fix nes games cheak it out;How to make nes games work!

  • SNES > ALL

  • what my nes never came with an RF switch

  • nes for ever

  • the NTCS version allready has a stupid power adapter like in the video? Lol. :) PAL version has two calbles - one to the nes and the other goes to the wall outlet. :)

  • BY THE POWER OF GREYSKULL! lol Heman and the masters of the universe parody

  • please make a new PFGAMES video :D

    they kick so much assssss!

  • check the credits everyone :PP that should answer your question about the gender :)

  • A WOWMAN MADE THIS CARTOON? WOOOOOOOOOOW!

  • @layger7 Why so suprised fucktard? I hate this...and I am a man.

  • @whaowman WOW!... THAT SOME WOW THING! THANKS WOWMAN! ITS A NICE FLASH!

  • @layger7 lol

  • i remeber seeing this on newgrounds

  • What was the glorious music that started at 2:40??

  • AW this sucks ass this didnt help me at all NumberOneTyrell is better!!!

  • Thank god for the NES 2! ;3

  • your parents help u hook it up

  • DON'T BLOW IN THE CARTRIDGE !

the contact will oxidixe 50time faster that normal , and your game will be fucked .

USE ALCOOL AND Q-TIPS INSTEAD !

and clean the Copper on the Plug-in part of the game ...

  • Lol you shouldve included you could use rca cables. and i wish it inluded contra

  • i got the top loader, n yes realy realy %100 works fine than the older one

  • HAHAHAHAHA the video is very funny :)

  • does the announcer sound like Pierre Chang from LOST to anybody besides me? :D

  • Thats what happens to me, my tv just flickers with a grey screen to the normal blurr, i need to do that!

  • Funny thing is, you don't need to click the cartridge, and supposedly, when it was in the 'down' position, it bent the contact pins!

  • hahahahaha lololol, everything in this cartoon is true XD

  • lol

  • i thought this was jaquio from ninja gaiden. i am disappointed.

  • haha reminds me of Ren & Stimpy.... funny

  • Mine Never blinks and I dont have to blow I dont get it it works like new

  • Epic, simply EPIC!! Great job, I really can't stop watching this!

  • jajajajjajaja

  • lol funny

  • Remnds of those Goofy Cartoons XD

  • Very creative!

  • i used sand paper, on the cartdrige and INSIDE nes connector, i dismantled EVERYTHING and bended the naked game circuit with a heavy dictionary almost touching the two circuits, used contact cleaner, AND i have soldered about 8 pins from an unused game with wires to the connector (there is a separete part of the cartdrige circuit that avoid blinking telling if it's JAP USA or PAL) doing so it works and you can run jap usa or pal games, mine still needs the dictionary

  • Great explanation!

  • what's pretty ironic is.. the NES was as simple as it could get. there were no menus within menus within menus within menus with the internet.. wireless cards.. usb ports.. tons of cords to connect.. controller setups.. etc like the wii. now THAT'S what this video should be about when you compare it to something like the nes!!

  • Superb! And now I want to play Contera :D.

  • i lol'd

  • Fantastic!

  • totally awesome, hell yeah!

  • WOOOOOT! hahah! Reminded me of the past. TY

  • Contra best game ever. When i was 8 I already know how to hooked up to my TV. After my NES turns 5yrs old I used to blow into my cartridge like that.

  • LOL, like how to's with goofy, I get it, LOL

  • Contra was much favorite NES game.

  • i have the power!

haha he man is awesome lol

  • I found my NES and duckhunt in the garrage lol.

  • at least they sell replacement 72 pin connectors online and stuff. just buy one and it will fix it. need help changing it look up instructions online.

  • lol awesome***

  • Man, I never had to do anything that complicated...

    Just lucky, I guess.

  • the extra cartridge trick was pretty much what i did except with the tv guide, since that's all that shit was good for back then LOL

  • ah yes, the good 'ol days.

  • Oh man that's awesome. I remember jamming a game pak on top of the cradle to get a game to work. I didn't think anyone else did that!

  • Actually, I felt the same way. I don't even remember if someone showed me to put another cartridge on top or I just instinctively did it.

  • i've never been shocked like that at the end but that is pretty much how it worked back then.haaaa, how many time did i i spit in the god damn cartridge while i almost lose conssiouness because of hyperventilation, good memories =)

  • rubbing alcohol worked better for me. I used it with a Q-tip on the connecters and viola!

  • I remember doing that.

  • well,if i had knew that then ;)

  • GREAT VIDEO!!

  • I rem gettng my first nes at age nine had a ton of cool games like Jason, T&C, Skate or Die, Paper boy, Ninja turtle 1 & 2 (the best), Mario, Dick Tracy, etc. Played em all rem watching Mario 3 on a movie wit some kid going around playing tournaments thats where I learnt that u could press down on the white blocks and walk behind to get the whistle. bad thing about it is blowing the game, did the putting a second game over it, and usually put the game to the edge and then force it down. lol

  • the3 wizard movie

  • best video game system of all time..

  • It started out funny, but got really stupid towards the end

  • lmao... reminds me of the good ol' days!

  • Made by women?

  • Yes, we're all women

  • so women made this cartoon?

  • Sure if that does it for you

  • @spanishqueen19 why dose it mater it it was made by women or men?

  • @shamoozal

but i can hear a man in the video ?

  • @shamoozal the narrator is a woman too? that's a pretty manly sounding woman.

  • @shamoozal even the narrator?

  • @caoquemordeuhomem and those women names are Frank Phil and Steve? read credits gosh...

  • awesome!

  • great animation

  • My NES has lasted longer then my 360! Microsoft could learn a thing or 2 from the NES. The Old School Rocks :-)

  • Sounds like the guy from Lost that does the DARMA videos.

  • Damn brings back memories lol

  • NOSTALGIA HAHAHAHA

  • Okay, so, this one was silenced why?

  • Never mind, that was my computer being dumb.

  • I have always had to blow on the cartridges, and now I still have to. I have had mine for nearly 18 years now. Still play it all the time!

  • classic...

  • Lmao I remember blowing on cartriges as a toddler! The NES caused some very frustrating moments for me as a three year old!

  • I'm favoring this

  • Brings back memories haha.

  • Jesus christ, be more negative. Go out sometime, get something to help you vacuum the sand out of your vagina.

  • Lighten up.

  • I think there's something wrong with their NES since the controller shouldn't be connected directly to the AV.

  • 2:30 HOLY SHIT

    I LOVE YOU

  • That was awesome, spot on. 5/5 stars.

  • I remember I had these problems when playing with my cousins SNES

  • Found this on Newgrounds first time. Got to 2:14 then my comp bluscreened. =(

  • hahahaha I remember blowing on those cartridges so much I was always out of breath. Except I grew up with the SNES. same thing right?

  • ..... not really, the SNES practically never suffered from this.....

Ive never had to blow a SNES cart.

  • well I guess you didn't play the SNES as much as I did.

  • That's a lie and you know it.

  • i did, but thinking about it, it mostly happened on $hitty forgettable 3rd party games i used to rent, which were also on a bad state (stained or bitten lol, i never had to blow 'mega man x', 'terranigma' or 'chrono trigger', good thing there's stuff like virtual console & zsnes now :)

  • I never had a NES. I started with a SNES
