i just updated my WBTV and i Have a ASS File (subtitle) and it was suppose to be played with this one Japanese movie that im trying to watch, lol.
so i would press Option and click subtitle but it doesnt show it says "NO SUBTITLE" so i went back to my computer and tried it and it worked but when i try to do it in the WD TV HD it says "No Subtitle" How do i fix that?
and its weird cause when i updated it its suppose to support ASS FILE.
WD TV Media Player will play your VOB files which I do have one. I have dozens beyond dozens of movies and TV shows and the Media Player plays ALL of them smoothly. It will play MKV files as well. My wife plays a lot of movie cartoons for our daughter. The picture quality is very nice especially if your have an HDTV. BACK ALL OF YOUR MOVIES and the media player will play them as I have.

I'm fairly new to this but would like to know will I be able to play my backed up DVD collection through this?
If so would I have to convert the vob files to another format?
Have to back up my DVD collection as there are small children in my family that tend to scratch and replay certain movies I've purchased repeatedly.
