@kay4x4 Technically yes, because it vents the gas in a way that it reduces noise, some silencers work so great that all you can hear is the firing pin/ hammer go "ping".

Yes, rly... IMI and Vector Arms are two different companies. VA is a U.S. company in Salt Lake, UT who decided to build their own UZI from parts they themselves fabricated. IMI is in Israel, est. in 1933 & owned by the Israeli govt. Israel Weapons Industries now mfg's the Uzi, etc. IWI used to be a part of IMI, but in '05 the SK group bought it from the Israeli govt & since then it's been a pvt. company & all products are being mfg. by IWI & sold as IWI products.

I find it really shocking firing a suppressed weapon. They don't sound quite loud but the kickback, really, is quite the same. And they are a lot heavier.

@cykovisuals looks like it was empty. I dont know much about the uzi but the chanber was closed. I believe if it jammed the chamber would be partial open. Then again, i dont know if the pin stays back when the weapon is empty like pistols.

@BlackJack2088 No it didnt. A 'Uzi' is a open bolt gun. Such as the MAC-11 or MAC-10. The bolt shuts closed when it's 'dry' or out of ammo in that clip. Unlike other guns like most pistols that hold the slide back when 'dry'.

Nice, that Uzi is quiet. The cool thing about the Uzi we shot was that it had Hebrew markings. I think it was from the late '60s, so it had alot of history behind it.
