yes lipstick really does contain fish scales, that's how most lipsticks get their colour.

But in all honesty alot of products people use or consume have disgusting ingredients that we would rather not know about. Many eyeshadow's contain crushed beetles. Candy among other things that use Glucose contain boiled animal bones.. Sometimes it's just best to not think about what is really in things haha
